We pulled up to a giant mansion with iron gates surrounding all the way around. There were guards all over the lawn and beside the gates. This new client must be someone really high in power because the kingdom is not necessarily seeing its best times.

We stopped at the entrance of the gates, for a guard to come out and check that we were allowed through. Once he saw who it was, the gates opened immediately letting us in. We drove up to the front steps of the mansion for us to stop.

Jake got out, and I followed walking behind him like a shadow. We made it to the top of the steps to see a young man.

"Ahh, here's the young lady I've been hearing all about. Did you bring any works with you?" he asked looking curious.

I looked over at Jake wondering what he was talking about, when I saw that all the guards around this place were royal guards. He was looking for a show to play them off.

"Yes, I did bring one of my many pieces, but it's not unfortunately it's not for sale." I answered slyly.

"Oh, that's unfortunate. May I see it?" He asked trying to see if I could prove my answer.

"Yes sir." I said walking towards him.

All of the guards shifted seeming a little uncomfortable with the small amount of distance.

I held out my wrist and said, "This is my most recent work of bracelets. Sorry I did not bring more to show you."

"It's amazing, and don't worry. We have many materials inside that you can use during your stay."

He was just trying to see how far I would go with out little talk.

"That would be wonderful. Just let me get my bag out of the car and we can head in."

"That would be great. Jared, can you get this young lady's bag out of the back for her?" he asked more formally.

"Yes sir." the driver said and grabbed my bag out of the back of the car with an 'oomph'.

I forgot I packed most of my weapons in there before we left.

"Sir?" I asked politely.

He nodded his head acknowledging me.

"My kind friend here can carry my bag for me, right?" I asked looking at Jake.

He understood what I meant and nodded his head grabbing my bag easily from the man.

"Well, let me show you to your room." he said while he walked through the front door.

"We have already gotten Jake a room, and his is right across from yours." he said walking us down a corridor to the right.

We continued walking down the corridor straight, till we made the third right into a dead end hallway with two doors on either side.

"Now, Jake's room is on the left and yours is on the right. I'll give you some time to unpack, then meet me back in the main room." he said before walking down the hall, but stopping before he turned and added, "Good luck not getting lost." he said before he was gone.

I walked to my temporary room, opening the door. inside the room, there was a giant king sized bed in the middle with a desk on the left wall. There were two doors, one on the left side of the bed, and one on the right. The one on the left was a walk in closet, while the one on the right was a giant bathroom.

"Wow." I hadn't realized I said it out loud till Jake responded.

"Yeah, it's big and beautiful here." he said throwing my bag on the bed.

"Yeah, I can tell already. Now, who's the guy?" I asked very curious.

"Oh, that's for him to tell, but what did you pack? An armory?" he asked joking.

"You never know what you will need." I replied shrugging my shoulders.

"Yeah, that's very true."

"You ready to head down?" I asked ready to head down.

"Don't you want to unpack?"

"Nah. Where would I put everything?"

"Good point. Now, where did you get that bracelet?"

"I bought it at the parade. You like it?"

"Yeah it's pretty. Just never thought you would wear jewelry."

"Neither did I, but there's more to it than it looks." I answered, thinking about the words on the back.

"Well, let's head down to the front. You remember the way?"

"Yes, it wasn't that hard, and I don't know these people. If I need to get out, I will."

"That's the girl I know, now let's go."

We walked out of my temporary room and started down the hall towards the front to talk further about my assignment. This should be a fun one.
