An angel falls from heaven and lands among the the land of rotting dreams. She wants to find her way back so she enrolls in the local catholic school. There she meets a girl who has been haunting the town for years; she's lost all hope of ever leaving. They decide to try and help each other. Autumn makes a home and Leah finds a way home, but not back to heaven. She chooses to stay with Autumn, who feels like home.
"But why would I want to go anywhere without my ghost? "
The angel did not fall from heaven. She jumped. Hoping to land in the ocean. Instead she fell into a pond behind a house. She broke her wings and could not get home. When she stumbled into the house she went into the cellar. She had thought the house was uninhabited, and had intended to die there. Canaan and Autumn came into the basement after following the trail of blood.
Ghost Girl
Autumn, a girl living seemingly alone in the world, has been living in a plane that does not feel like home. Somewhere in the South, she goes about her days as if she were a ghost, retracing and reliving every day over and over again.
