Flowers That Bloom 🌹

She speaks poison ivy,
She puts on a rosy red lipstick.
She welcomes you with open arms lovingly,
She wears a hot red dress and red kicks.

She knows how much she'd sin.
She couldn't stop these flowers from blooming.
She knew from the very start that she was toxic,
She brushed it off and continued on preying and hunting.

She has dozens of men waiting on her doorstep,
She poisons each and every one of them.
She used to own a heart of pure gold,
She then woke up in an unfamiliar bed, with an unfamiliar man and her heart turned to stone.

She was nothing more than a plaything for them,
She had her trust, innocence, love taken.
She was dirty, so dirty and felt hopeless,
She would cry in the bathtub for hours while trying to scrub the nonexistent dirt on her, it was useless.

She trained herself to be strong,
She taught herself how to act, how to play, how to laugh.
She became an eccedentesiast, god knows for how long.
She just wasn't herself anymore, the innocent girl was buried six feet under, she was long gone.

She was thrown away like utter rubbish,
She forgot how to know how to smile, properly, anymore.
She was phlegmatic and in pain.
She wasn't the amazing girl everyone used to adore.

She craves for revenge,
She sees red and draws blood,
She wants everyone to feel the same way,
All the petals are now gone revealing only the rose bud.
