Face palming in class,
Eyes staring at her teacher
but her mind is elsewhere.

She doesn't see her teacher,
She doesn't hear her
friend's voice next to her,
She doesn't see this
classroom anymore,
Its the boy who's on her mind
and just her alone.

He pulls the strings
and plays with her head,
Planting poisonous thoughts.
He pulls the strings
and plays with her heart,
Whispering lies that she bought.

The boy in her mind stares at her from across the room,
Another girl's name
to cross on the list,
His wicked games and his soul belongs in a dark abyss.

You can try to snap your fingers in front of her face,
Crystal clear and loud.
When will there be a savior to get her out of his trap,
She's got her head in the clouds.
