We had a lot of decisions to make,
We chose it and it led us to meet face to face with our fate,
We all made it seem like it was a piece of cake,
We forgot one mistake made could lead a person's life at stake.
With my own eyes,
I saw the regret they felt and tried their best to hide.
I saw they desperately sewing things back into place,
Well, at least they've tried.
It seems like we never grabbed the chance,
That one obvious opportunity we could've take.
Yet, after everything falls into place,
We ignored the warning signs and now we wished we drowned in a poisoned lake.
Deep cuts on your body,
You've never felt so lonely.
Gripping a handful of hair,
Screaming your heart out, this pain, it's so hard to bear.
It's just so hard to breathe, is anyone out there?
This world, could you just easily leave?
Heaven, wait for me, soon I'll be there.
