It pays off to have people in your life who are patient and just great.

It makes me feel way more appreciative of them when I think on it hard enough.

Who am I talking about?

Everyone I know just as long as they haven't treated me like garbage.

Although, in life there still are those who are bad to you but all that should do is make you appreciate the others even more.

The relationships that I have developed with people this far are going pretty good.

For starters, Isabella is and has been my girlfriend only for the past two days, but the relationship is going along quite smoothly. It's funny when I think about it because I thought that if we ever got together then it'd be a dysfunctional one and we'd never get along. Then again, it HAS only been two days so I can't quite talk TOO highly of it yet.

Camille. My loving little sister. An angel. Each day she's slowly been growing older on the inside than she should be. All this morning she's been outsmarting me and just being her small smart self. I just hope she doesn't grow too old before she reaches the age of ten. Can't believe that's only in two years from now. I'm getting OLD because she has a crush on somebody!! Though, yeah, I'm still happy for her exploration of romance cause they're quite the wild pea pods.

Ryan. The oldest father -I can hear him whining right now- a kid could ever have, but he's also the coolest one. I guess I won't be doing anymore jobs for him or anyone else for that matter. Believe me I tried this morning to get one even though we talked about it already. Doing those kinds of jobs is like automatic nature to me, so it's difficult to completely let go of it. His relationship with Scarlet is progressively growing steady and I can see how happy it's making him because he throws all that happens onto me and Cam both.

My friends on the other hand are each going through their own issues as it's told on each of their faces. Raven has looked so conflicted all morning and it's so heart wrenching to see since she's such a bright, and calm individual. José, I haven't actually seen him yet nor did I Friday during Chad's game. I should message him later to see if he's alright. Lastly, Chad has been looking down. I'll go ahead and assume that it's due to his heart being broken by Mrs. Quincy. Unless it IS something completely different.

"Alex!"

I look up abruptly at Mr. Randall who shouted my name.

"Yes?"

"Go to the office your mother is here."

What?

My mother?

That can't be true because I haven't seen her in weeks. Let alone would she ever come to my school to see me.

"Alright." I nod at Mr. Randall who gives me a smile and resumes to grading his papers.

"Is everything going to be alright?" I look over at Izzy who asked next to me.

I can see the worry in her eyes which makes me remember that I've never talked about my mother to her. So of course she'd be worried about it.

"It'll be fine, I'll be back so don't worry about it." I stand up and give her a reassuring smile.

"If you say so. Just call me if anything happens." I nod at her care for me and what lies ahead of me in the principal's office.

I step each foot towards the classroom door and open it to step out into the cold hallway of Wilburn.

The chill in the hall is way more intense today than it is any other day. Maybe it's because of the unknown situation that's about to unfold.
