Greenflame Oneshots (Hiatus)

Never To Busy for You.

Lloyd scrambled to look for his ninja gi on while also looking for his speeches. Today, he was suppose to give a huge speech half way across Ninjago in less than 3 hours, then come back to help with the fun raiser at the local children's hospital, then make another short speech at the new opening of the cake factory across town. Luckily, his gi was neatly ironed

"Where are they?!" Lloyd muttered to himself, his hair was messier than usual.

"Uh, Lloyd? You okay?" Kai, his boyfriend, asked worriedly.

"No, I can't find my speeches and I have three hours or I'm gonna be late!" exclaimed Lloyd as he looked under the bed.

"Uh, babe?" Kai grinned and pointed to the neat pieces of paper near the window.

Lloyd smiled and ran to his speeches "Thank grandfather for you, Kai. Now if only I can find my-"

"I washed and ironed your gi earlier this morning and came to give it back to you." Kai interrupted Lloyd, handing him the neatly folded and iron green gi.

Lloyd sighed in relief and pecked Kai on the cheek "I'll get dressed right now and then I'm off."

"Wait." Kai said and grabbed a brush from his dresser "Your not going out with your hair looking a hot mess."

Lloyd huffed but didn't argue. He bit his lip from yelping in pain as Kai pulled the knots out his hair. It had been a while since he brushed his hair, not really caring how it looked. Luckily, he had a boyfriend who was an expert at hair styling and knew how much his appearance meant to him and the team. Kai ruffled his hair a bit to get his normal hair do down pack and added hair spray.

"There. Now you can get dressed." Kai smiled in satisfaction.

"Alright." Lloyd smiled, giving Kai a kiss on the cheek before walking to the door.

"Wait, Lloyd." Kai called out.

Lloyd turned to him "What's up? Did I forget something."

"Two, actually. First, do you wanna make plans for our dinner date on Friday?" Kai asked shyly.

Lloyd winced "I'm sorry babe. I'm busy this entire month. Maybe next month?"

Kai sighed and looked away, sitting on the bed "You say that every time I ask. I should just stop asking you if your so busy."

"Kai, you know being the green ninja is hard." Lloyd said softly, setting his speech and gi down to the side of the bed before sitting down next to Kai "And you know I would never turn down a date if I wasn't extremely busy."

"Your not to busy for Ninjago but your always to busy to spend time with your boyfriend." Kai scoffed "I see how it is."

Lloyd sighed and looked at his watch "Look, can we please talk about this when I get back? I have a schedule."

"Then maybe you should squeeze me in somewhere between your meetings and speeches, oh great chosen one." Kai said sarcastically, standing up to walk out the room but then turned to Lloyd "And the other thing you forgot was to say thank you. I've been doing this routine for months and you haven't said thank you once."

Kai slammed the door behind him. Lloyd groaned, dragging his hands down his face in frustration. Kai didn't get that his job was stressful enough. He growled under his breath and started getting dressed.

Unbelievable. Lloyd was being unbelievable. Why was he always busy like this? Why couldn't he have enough time for Kai? The only time the two really had was when they went on missions with the others or when they went to bed. And Lloyd came late at night when everyone else was asleep, including Kai. They would usually share a bed, but since Lloyd was to 'busy', they now were sleeping in their separate rooms. Kai hated being alone. It was his greatest fear, since he got over being afraid of water when he rescued Lloyd.
