Kaia stared at the long white and blue stick in her shaking hand. She felt numb, staring at the small black bolded words.

'Pregnant'

Let's start from the beginning. It had been a full year since Kaia and Lloyd got married, and they were extremely happy and in love with one another. A few weeks ago, Kaia was throwing up way to early in the morning, eating very...strange things and getting emotional at random moments. She had a screaming match with Lloyd the other day over a book that Lloyd was reading. Of course, they couldn't be mad at each other for that long and apologized. The others grew worried about Kaia's behavior, but brushed it off, thinking it was just the time of the month.

Back in the present, Kaia was alone in the Monastary because everyone else was out. She was cleaning her and Lloyd's room when she felt the urge to throw up. She ran to the bathroom, locking the door, and slid to the toilet. She emptied her stomach for a few minutes, and leaned against the tub panting heavily. She grunted, and reached for the medicine cabinet to get the pregnancy test she bought a few days ago. She started feeling sick like this for a couple of weeks, and bought it just to make sure. It slipped her mind until now, lucky that the others were gone so no one could hear her scream.

"Somethings wrong." Lloyd muttered as he and the others exited the market.

"What?" Jay asked.

"I have this weird feeling that Kaia just screamed." Lloyd bit his lip "I don't know why though."

Coke shook his head "Even after a year of being married, you still can't let the girl be alone."

"You're just worried. I'm sure everything is fine." Nya shrugged.

Just after she said that, Lloyd's phone rang and he immediately picked it up "Hello?"

Kai's was sobbing loudly "Lloyd..."

Everyone became quiet with concern, and Lloyd dropped the bags to cradle his phone to his ear "Kaia?! Baby, is everything-"

"C-Can you come home?"

Lloyd had never heard Kaia's voice sound broke his heart "I'm on my way, sweetheart. Are you hurt?"

"N-No I just...I just need to talk to you." Kaia replied, her voice a little steady.

"I'm coming, I promise. Hang in there. I love you so, so much."

"I love you too." She whispered, and hung up.

"What's wrong?" Nya asked.

"I don't know, she didn't say. Let's hurry ok?" Lloyd bit down on his lip, the empty feeling in his stomach from the worry about his wife.

"We could take an elemental dragon-"

With a blink of an eye, Lloyd was already gone, his dragon roaring loudly in the sky. Yet, the others weren't offended or surprised by it really. They followed him straight away, also worried for their female friend.

Kaia paced back and forth, biting her lip. She had already took several pregnancy tests and they all were positive. She jumped violently when Lloyd slammed the door open and ran to her, the others following behind.

"Kaia!" Lloyd pulled her into a hug "Are you alright, my love?" Lloyd pulled away, holding her by her shoulders "What's wrong?"

"Lloyd, I'm fine. Actually, I'm more then fine. I'm sorry about the phone call, I was just...in shock?" Kaia smiled shyly.
