Greenflame Oneshots (Hiatus)

A///N: Hi guys! So a view days ago I had this brilliant idea when I was watching this animatic of Voltron (Klance, obviously(:) so I thought, hey! Let's make that A Greenflame thing! Kai will be the one singing it about Lloyd and Harumi so I hope you enjoy!

Kai shuddered, the cold breeze hitting his skin under his thin shirt. He and Lloyd were meeting the guys to hang out on their break from find Wu. He bit his lip, glancing at Lloyd who was busy on his phone, and then at the ground. He should've listened to his gut and put on a jacket. Just cuz he's the master of fire doesn't mean he can just magically warm himself up from the cold-

Kai blinked when a heavy weight weighed his shoulders down. He glanced down and saw Lloyd's green sweater around his shoulders. He looked up at Lloyd (like seriously, when did he get so tall?!) and saw glimmering green eyes look back at him.

"What?" Lloyd raised his eyebrow "You looked cold. And beside," Lloyd winked "I think you look great in green if I do say so my self!"

He continued walking, not noticing Kai blushing like mad, and walking closer to him before. His gay little heart couldn't take it.

Kai bit his lip as he watch Lloyd talk all about his little 'date' with the princess. His chest weighed heavily, his eyes began to sting. But he smiled and played along, acting happy to give Lloyd advice. No one noticed the tear slowly going down his cheek as he watched Lloyd practically skip his way to go find the princess.

"Woah, Kai, you okay dude?" Jay asked.

Kai cursed under his breath and wiped his cheek. He completely forgot about their training. He faked a wide smile, ignoring the doubt and concern in his friends and sister's eyes.

"I'm fine. Just really happy for Lloyd." Kai thanked FSM for his voice being so steady.

He didn't need the others to see how much of a mess he was.

Kai watched as Lloyd held the princess close, his jacket around her shoulders, as she sniffled. He whispered sweet nothing in her ear, making her giggle sometimes. It was something Lloyd use to do with Kai every time he got upset or angry or just wanted to hug Lloyd. His heart was stomped on, tears rolled down his cheeks but he made no sound. He wiped his tears and went on deck to see what the others were doing.

Now I'm getting colder

Kai was nearly caught one time. He knew the others were worrying about him, but he paid no attention to them, only the mission. And Lloyd with the princess. The two were alone on deck, talking and watching the ground below. Their hands were tightly intertwined, but then Lloyd did something that made Kai let out a small sob.

He let go of the princess's hand and wrapped an arm around her shoulder, pecking her forehead shyly that had them both blushing. Kai turned his head and covered his mouth, hoping the wouldn't look his way. Why is it that he always had to cry? Why couldn't he just...be happy for his best friend?! It hurt so much...

Kai felt guilty at the scowl slowly appearing on his face. He couldn't help it! The princess was rocking the baby, or Cole Jr, back and forth while singing softly. And her voice is...amazing. Way better then Kai's. What really hurt was the way Lloyd looked at her with hearts in his eyes and a dreamy smile. The same way he looked at Lloyd since he developed feelings for him back at the Tournament of Elements.

He watched the princess walk out, Lloyd soon following her. He felt so empty inside, the painful feeling of loving a one sided person felt horrible. He turned to Cole, Jay, and Zane watching him and gave them a shaky smile.

"What?" Kai asked.

"Kai, do you..." Zane trailed off.

Kai took in a long breath and let it out, tears already in his eyes "Y-Yeah. Ever since the tournament."

"Oh, Kai..." Jay cooed, wrapping his arms around his friend.

Cole and Zane soon followed after, and Kai had to keep his sobs down so the baby could sleep soundlessly.

Kai sat on his bed back at the Monastary, thinking about their latest mission from the beginning. All of those times he spent in the shadows watching Harumi and Lloyd get closer, crying almost every night from heart break. And how he tried his hardest to get over Lloyd in the first realm, but that just made him miss the green ninja more.

Kai held a picture of Lloyd two years ago on Christmas. He looked so cute, snow on his nose and hat, his cheek red and that dazzling smile. Kai smiled sadly and stroked his finger on the glass where Lloyd's cheek was. He didn't even realize he started singing.

"Why would you ever kiss me?
I'm not even half, as pretty
You gave her your sweater
It's just polyester, but you like her better
Wish I were-"

Kai stopped himself, and his breathing, and looked slowly at his door. Lloyd was standing there, his eyes as wide as dinner plates and his mouth gaped open a bit. His cheeks were pink, and Kai's red with embarrassment. The door was shut behind him, so he must've been there for a while. They stared at one another for a long time, neither doing anything.

Lloyd was the one to break the silence.

"Kai-"

But Kai didn't hear the rest of it, because he ran out like his life depended on it, which it did, at least to him. He was so sick and tired of feeling heartbroken. He just wanted to get away.
