Greenflame Oneshots (Hiatus)

It was an ordinary day in New Ninjago City. The sun was out, everyone in the land was at peace.

At the Monastary on a tall mountain that watched over Ninjago, is where the powerful elemental masters and their sensei lived peacefully. It had been a long time since they all had a day off, since they were ninjas and Ninjago's saviors after all.

"When was the last time we ever relaxed?" Jay sighed, laying across Cole's lap.

Cole, Kai and Lloyd chuckled, and Cole stroked his fingers in his boyfriend's hair "A long, long time." Cole replied "Everything has been peaceful lately. All threats to Ninjago is gone, Kai finally got the balls to ask Lloyd out-"

"Hey!"

"-and no body is on the threat of dying. What could be better than this?" Cole smiled down at Jay, completely ignoring Kai's comment.

"Well, you could give me a kiss." Jay wiggled his eyebrows.

Cole and Jay laughed and leaned in, kissing each other before pulling away "Mmm, now this is better." Cole muttered.

Kai faked gagged, making Lloyd laugh into his chest "You guys make out everywhere like we want to see that." Kai joked.

"Like you and Lloyd are any better. You two just can't keep your hands off one another." Jay smirked.

"We have an excuse. We just got together two weeks ago and you guys have been together for almost 2 years." Lloyd stuck out his tongue, and Jay did it back to him.

"What would we do without our babies, huh Kai?" Cole chuckled.

Kai smiled and pulled Lloyd on his lap, kissing his cheek "I don't ever want to find out."

Lloyd blushed and snuggled closely into Kai's chest with his arm wrapped around his neck "You've been sweet talking to me all day."

"Because I love you." Kai whispered in his ear.

Lloyd's eyes widened in shock. The two hadn't said the 'L' word to one another yet, and this was the first time Kai ever said it. His pale cheeks turned dark red, and he couldn't bring himself to say anything. He could literally feel Jay and Cole's eyes burning in the back of his neck. What was he suppose to say? Was he even ready to say it back?

"You don't need to say it back." Kai whispered quietly in his ear, but he sounded sad "It's okay."

"Kai...I-"

The red lights and the sirens blared throughout the Monastary, and the four jumped up in alert "Emergency at Borg industrials! It looks like we're dealing with assassins." Nya shouted over the loud speaker.

"Seriously? On our day off?" Jay groaned "Man...this better be quick so we can get back to relaxing."

"Oh hush and come one you big baby." Cole chuckled and ran out the room with Kai and Lloyd following.

Jay rolled his eyes and ran after his friends and boyfriend/teammates.

6 colorful dragons soared through the sky to Borg industrials when Zane shouted "Pixal has detected the assassins right under us!"

"How many are we dealing with Zane?" Lloyd shouted back.

Zane touched the side of his temple and scanned the area below him "2 dozen!"

"Awww, only 2 dozen?" Kai whined "I was so up to 3 dozen."

"At least we'll get home quicker." Jay shrugged "Then we can enjoy the rest of our day off."
