the pain between my legs hadn't been there in a long time. i rolled over tangled in a cotton sheet stretching softly. i whines softly from a wrong move of my thighs. "good morning babygirl." i felt his hand gently run through my hair sending relief through my body.

i carefully turned to my side facing the artwork of a boy laying next to me. his eyes ran to every inch of my exposed body. i felt my face heat up like we were kids again. he planted a soft kiss on my forehead. "i'm gonna take a shower." he smirked. "wanna join."

"yeah." i rolled over to get out of bed and as soon as my feet touched the ground i couldn't hold myself up. "babe?" he asked.

i sat on the floor chuckling. "i can't walk." i laughed. "what?" he said worried. "oh." i watched the realization hit his face. we sat there laughing. my laughing turned into a yelp as he unexpectedly picked me off the ground, still in a sheet. and brought my to the bathroom turning the faucet to the bathtub.

"for an ugly motel the bathrooms kinda cute." i laughed adjusting my sheet over my chest. i loved the feeling i had. not the pain. but being so happy with someone i wanted to be happy with for so long. but part of me felt guilty. i broke up with my boyfriend last night.

but he cheated on me. with benji's girlfriend. i didn't think about that until now. benji got cheated on too but he was worried about me. my voice interrupted my thoughts. "are you okay?" i blurted out. benji turned to look at me, staring me down for what felt like the 10,000 time today.

"i wasn't. but i'm alright now." he turned off the faucet. "i knew she was a bitch but i never thought she would cheat on me. especially with that fucking dick." he shook his head letting his curly hair fall down in front of his face.

i struggled off of the toilet and dropped the sheet. i grabbed his hand and winced as i stepped over the wall of the tub. "i really did that?" benji asked.

"i'll get you back don't worry." i laughed letting the warm water engulf me. he smirked sliding in behind me. i relaxed feeling his arms wrap around me.

"look at us doing cute shit." he chuckles vibrating my back. he played with my hair as we sat in the silence. "what are you thinking about?"

"what if i never got with cameron?" i said softly tracing my wet fingers over benji's bruised knuckles.

"what if i never got with sophie?" he said in response.
