After forty nine minutes of another boring history lesson the bell rang. I grabbed my bag and ran out as quickly as I could. Finally! I thought. I walked over to my locker and grabbed my math books. I looked over at Nicole and saw her talking to someone else. Her dark wavy hair was in a ponytail. I guess I'll talk to her later. I thought as I walked to my next class.

Alan was already sitting at his desk. I walked over to my desk and put my stuff down. That's when he reached over and grabbed my pencil.

"Hey!" I exclaimed as I tried to reach for it. He smiled and extended his arm so I couldn't reach it. I jumped over the desk behind him to get to the other side. He took the pencil and extended his arm the other way.

"Alan!" I whined. He laughed and I tried to reach for it again. Then someone else took it. Alan and I both looked at who took it and I gave them a confused look.

"I believe this belongs to you." Aaron said as he handed me the pencil. I hesitantly took it from him and kept eye contact. His green eyes stared into mine. I thanked him and then looked at Alan to see him eyeing Aaron. I then walked over to my desk and sat down.

"What's your name?" Aaron asked me as he walked up to my desk. He leaned on my desk a little bit and lifted his eyebrow.

"I'm Angelina, but my friends call me Angel." I told him. He smiled.

"Your nickname definitely fits." He said.

"How so?" I asked him.

"You look like a beautiful angel." He said simply.

My eyes widened. I was pretty sure that angels were scary and that they didn't have glasses. I was flattered though.

"Well, thank you." I said, smiling. He smiled back and Alan looked away. I frowned a little bit when I saw that Alan looked a little annoyed.

"You alright Alan?" I asked him. Aaron turned to Alan and crossed his arms as he continued to lean on my desk. Alan turned around and smiled his adorable smile.

"Yeah, I'm fine." He said. I felt my cheeks heat up a tiny bit at the sight of his smile. I smiled back and nodded.

"So you're Alan?" Aaron asked him. Alan nodded and held out his hand.

"Aaron, right?" He asked as they shook hands. Aaron nodded and they stopped shaking hands.

"So are you and Angel like a thing or something?" Aaron asked Alan. I felt my face heat up and my heart began to beat faster.

"What? No. We're just friends, nothing more." He said simply. I felt as if I had just gotten slapped in the face. Well I mean it was true. He didn't know how I felt about him so we have no choice but to just be friends. That's when I got an idea. Valentine's Day was coming up in a couple of weeks. Maybe I could make him a card.

The bell rang and Aaron quickly hopped in the seat in front of me.

After class I walked out of the room and began to walk towards my locker.

"Angel!" I heard Aaron call out from behind me. I turned around and waited for him to talk.

"Can I have lunch with you?" He asked as he laughed nervously.

"Of course you can! Just know that we are kind of weird." I said, giggling. He smiled and thanked me. He then turned around and walked to his locker.

I turned around and saw Nicole smirking and wiggling her eyebrows. I sighed and started to open my locker.

"So...the new guy." She said, giggling.

"No. My heart beats for someone else." I said as I felt my cheeks heat up a tiny bit.

"Alright." She said with a smile. I shook my head and sighed as I grabbed my books for my next class.
