A week has passed and it was actually kind of nice to have Elizabeth expelled from this school. Sure I did feel pretty bad but she kind of deserved it. No one should ever put any kind of alcohol in someone's drink if they do not give you permission. They shouldn't even do it period.

Everything was amazing though. Alan seemed a little happier since he broke things off with Elizabeth. He and I were best friends again. We hung out almost all the time which was really nice. Aaron, Nicole, Alan and I got to go to the movies together. We had a really great time, if you leave out the fact that Nicole and I almost ripped each other's heads off.

Aaron looked concerned but Alan just stood and watched us. My boyfriend was about to do something but Alan stopped him and told him that it was pretty normal for us. After Nicole and I fixed our crazy hair from the fight, we walked out laughing with each other and pretending that nothing happened. Aaron looked so confused but Alan just put his hand on his shoulder and shook his head.

"They have always been like that since fifth grade." He told them.

Aaron shrugged and smiled a little bit. We went out to get ice cream right after the movie. Nicole and I almost got into an ice cream fight but Alan was able to stop up before we got ice cream all over the place. It was about eight at night and we were headed home in Alan's car.

"Jesus take the wheel!" I sang along to the radio, loudly.

My friends laughed and sang along with me. Alan stopped by Nicole's house and dropped her off. The three of us drove to Aaron's house and dropped him off.

"That was fun." I said once I hopped up to the passenger seat so Alan wouldn't be alone in the front.

"Yeah. Yeah it was." He said, smiling.

I buckled up and Alan began to drive toward my house. It was about ten minutes away from Aaron's place.

"May I ask you something?" I asked Alan.

"Sure." He said as he kept his eyes on the road.

"Why did you pick Elizabeth over...well you know?" I asked as I looked down.

He stayed silent for a while and I looked at him from the corner of my eye. He had a straight face and he looked like he had pain in his eyes. We stayed quiet for a while and I quickly regretted asking him.

"I don't think this would be the right time to tell you. Plus you're with Aaron so why should it matter to you?" He asked, keeping a straight face.

I felt guilty once he said that. Just by that one comment it sounded like I liked Alan instead of Aaron, which would be cheating, right? I would never want to cheat on anyone.

"Nevermind. I apologize for asking." I said as I closed my eyes in shame.

I could feel Alan looking at me but I kept my eyes closed and lifted my chin to the roof of the car. We drove in awkward silence for a while until he finally told me that we arrived at my house. I thanked him and got off of the car.

"Hey, Angel?" He asked.

I turned around and hummed in response.

"Are you free next weekend? My family just got a new boat and they wanted me to invite you." He said.

"I believe so." I said, with a small smile on my face.

"Awesome! I will let my parent's know." He said.

I nodded and he drove away. I sighed and walked into the house and went straight to my brother's room and talked to him until it was time to go to bed.

I really wish I didn't have to see Elizabeth again...

*thirty minutes before the incident*

"You are so dead if you say anything about this to anyone." Nicole said.

"Understood." I said with a smirk on my face.

"Good." she said as she closed her locker.

"Alan!" I called out as I began to run towards my buddy.

"Angelina!" Nicole called out as she ran after me.

Alan lifted an eyebrow and gave me a questionable look.

"Nicole ha-!" I was interrupted and was being choked by Nicole's arm.

I squirmed and began to flail my scrawny arms.

"Ok ok." I managed to say.

She let me go and I began to cough. Alan chuckled and looked at us with his usual concerned look. I looked back at her and nodded as I stood up straight.

"Nicole has a crush on someone!" I said quickly.

"Angel!" She exclaimed as she slapped my arm.

"Oh really? What happened to, 'Boys are complete jerks! I am so going to stay single as long as I can.'?" Alan asked with a smirk on his face.

I laughed and Nicole blushed from embarrassment and frustration.

"Th-this one is different." Nicole said as she crossed her arms.

Alan chuckled and shook his head.

"Yeah, sure." He said.

She glared at him and gave him a silent warning that made the both of us laugh. I gave Nicole a hug and apologized. She sighed and looked at the both of us.

"You guys better not say a word." She said.

I made a zipping motion across my lips and nodded with a determined look. Alan just nodded which made Nicole happier.

"You are so dead." She told me.

I giggled and apologized again. She smiled and shook her head.

"Whatever. I have to go. I will see you guys tomorrow." She said.

We said our goodbyes and Alan and I walked towards the other exit by the gym. I went ahead of him and opened the doors. I froze and felt myself sink.

"Angel, what...?" Alan began to ask but I guess he understood why I stopped.

A tear streamed down my cheek and I felt Alan put his hand on my shoulder. He tightened his grip out of anger but he loosened it so he wouldn't hurt me. I stood and stared at my boyfriend as he kissed Elizabeth. I held my breath and let the tears roll down my cheek.

"A-Angel." Aaron said in shock once he saw me.

I quickly turned around and ran back into the building.

"Wait!" I heard him call out to me.

"Don't even think about going near her again!" I heard Alan yell.

I then heard someone fall against the door. I ran up the stairs and into the dark choir room. Thank goodness Mr. Stirling wasn't in the room. I put my head in my knees and cried on the risers. A couple of seconds later the door opened and Alan came in. He walked over to me and sat next to me without saying a word.

I looked at him with tears pouring from my eyes. He looked like he was in pain as well. I fell forward and sobbed into his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and rested his head on my chin, staying completely silent as he held me.

'Why? I-is there something wrong with me?' I wondered.

I thought about asking him but I couldn't even speak. He just shushed me quietly and held me in his arms as I sobbed.
