It was now day, and the events that occurred the previous night still lingered fresh through Thea's thoughts which handicapped her of being fully capable of doing a measly job such as cleaning a canon. Thea was distracted, and it showed. Whilst waiting around the entrance of the walls, Thea overheard shouts from citizens indicating the Main Force of the Survey Corps had arrived.

"Commander Erwin, kill the Titans for us!" One of the male citizens howled toward the Commander, while others just watched in awe at the sight of Captain Levi. Although there wasn't much to see...

"They say he's as strong as an entire brigade!"

Thea couldn't help but to think that was an overstatement, although she didn't doubt his skills one bit. It was hard to picture such a man having the physical prowess of a brigade. From behind her, Thea could over-hear Eren speaking towards Armin and Mikasa-- but seeing as how they weren't in good terms; or how they've never been on good terms. Thea ignored him.

"Hey guys!" Thea spotted Hannes walking towards them, more specifically the trio, but Hannes also made sure to incorporate Thea in the conversation-- although that did not please Eren. "I heard you  guys graduated yesterday. Hard to believe you're the little kids I remember."

Eren completely dismissed Thea's presence and avoided all eye-contact with her, "What about you? You've gone from a drunk to a captain of of the combat engineers."

Hannes lightly hit Eren on his forehead before muttering a few words. Although immediately, his demeanor changed and he apologized, not only to Eren-- but to Thea as well. "I wasn't able to save neither of your mothers," Hannes apologetic eyes switched from the hard floor to Thea's lavish blue eyes, "and father."

Before Eren could reply to Hannes, Thea countered his statement. "It'll never be your fault, there's no need to apologize." Eren hated that he agreed with her, but he nodded his head and continued with her argument.

"We aren't ignorant anymore. I'll never let anything that sad happen again. Not to me, not to anyone, and not to Thea either." The blue-eyed female was taken aback by his use of her as an example, and her stomach felt like it had just been tied up in knots. Perhaps he didn't hate her as much as she anticipated. "We will defeat the Titans."

On top of the Wall, Thea was cleaning canons alongside everybody before Eren let out a loud yelp of surprise, "Huh? You're going to join Survey Corps?" Thea's concentration shifted from cleaning the canons to the conversation the loud male was having, "Connie, you were so eager to join the Military Police!"

Thea, now fully engrossed in their conversation, stood up and approached the two. "What?" Thea started, slightly elongating the word. "So, you finally decided to go and commit suicide with us, Connie." Thea finished, slightly chuckling at her own fears of what this branch has to offer. Which is quite frankly, death.

"I guess you could say that." Was all that Connie replied with until Mina noted on how Erens' speech from yesterday had "affected him" which caused Connie to become all flustered, "Shut up! it was my own decision..."

"No need to feel embarrassed," Thea could hear another voice approaching, "It isn't just you."

Thomas also fell flustered, until Sasha arrived, hiding a pound of meat in her jacket, "I brought meat from the officers storehouse." Thea's face went pale,

"S-Sasha! You can't be serious." Thea stuttered out, her shocked expression matching everybody elses.

"Do you want to end up in jail?" Eren exclaimed, slightly shaming her for such a reckless action.

Sasha suddenly got a, what Thea would call, terrifying expression on her face.

Pure glutton.

"Let's all split it, we can slice it and make sandwiches!" Her body now trembling from the pure thought of eating said meat, the drool that cascaded down her mouth and dropped towards the floor disgusted Thea.

"Go put it back!" Everybody demanded, but it seemed that their words only fell to deaf ears.

"That's right. After all the land we've lost, meat is very valuable!" Mina added on, Thea immediately, without skipping a beat, as if it was on instinct, agreed.

"It's fine!" Sasha argued back, walking towards a wooden crate and opening, placing the meat inside as she spoke. "Once we retake the land, we can raise cows and sheep again."

Everybody went silent, and for some reason, Thea had a feeling something terribly bad was about to occur, and she couldn't shake that feeling off.

"I'll have some of that meat too!" Thea's bad gut feeling was put on hold while everyone agreed to have some of the meat Sasha had stole. Thea just stood watching towards the land that had fallen due to the Titans, letting the cool breeze hit her face. The blonde could swear something in the atmosphere had changed, and the feeling was far too familiar, but she couldn't exactly pin-point from where this feeling was. This feeling of absolute dread.

"Thea, Eren! Don't just stand there." Marco called out, attempting to snap them both out of the trance they were in, "Get back to work or else they'll find out."

Thea replied with a disinterest 'yeah.' as she continued to gaze off into the distant lands. "Eren." Thea called out to her friend whom she had a very puzzling relationship with, the male walked up to Thea who stood next to the two canons and questioned why she had called out to him. "Do you feel that?"

Eren was fairly confused on what could the blonde female be instigating about, "Feel what?"

"Does it not seem familiar?"

"What seems familiar?"

"This.. feeling." Thea retorted back instantly.

Before Eren could ask her to be more detailed, lightning fell and Thea could once more remember where this feeling was from.

That's right. From That Day.

--

The sudden explosion caused Thea to look up at the two enormous eyes that bore its eyes into her frame. She was face to face to the very thing that she feared most. Her heart started thumbing loudly inside her ears as her legs felt weak and her own head felt heavy. She was motionless, and it was pitiful how her first instinct was to cry. A sudden heat explosion caused her and her fellow trainees to be catapulted from the top of the building, in a frenzy, Thea launched on to the side of the wall as she watched everybody else ready for battle.

Everybody but her.

For the second time in her life, Thea experienced pure terror.
