Jean, Mikasa, Connie, Thea and the rest of the graduates headed inside the chamber of HQ in fear of any Titans trying to destroy the building. Thea grew anxious of their plan to utilize his abnormality due to the fear it might turn on them, but the way it completely ignored their presence made it highly unlikely. "D-Don't worry." Connie announced, "It's stronger than an average Titan."
Thea saw a small horde move towards the Abnormal, "What if he's mobbed?" She questioned, a cold sweat arose from the bald-head boy.
"I-I don't know." He responded back fearfully, if that Aberrant was killed their hopes on surviving were crushed. "But, as long as it's out there raising hell," He added on, "they won't destroy this building!" Thea nodded her head in agreement as she heard the wooden elevator that led down to the gas room was rose up.
"How much do you know about this Titan?" Questioned Reiner, Connie did a double take before responding with a slight stutter.
"We can worry about that once we get out." He retorted, Thea seemed to be in deep thought. Their lives were dependent on the behavior of a Titan and she did not like that. Not one bit.
She sneered and let out a small 'tch' sound, "Our lives are taken away because of them and now I have to depend on them." Thea said under her breath, she was repulsed.
"We found it!" Jean announced to everyone, "This is military police stuff..." A pack of soldiers walked in holding dusty wooden boxes in their hands, "It was covered in dust." He finished as he brought out a gun from one of the boxes.
"Are scatter shots really enough?" Thea questioned, "or any use against Titans?" she finished as they sat on the floor looking at their plans. Everybody fell silent as they too had this worry, feeling the pressure of everyone's eyes on her Theas face reddened.
"I think they're a lot better than nothing." Retorted Armin, Thea swallowed a lump in her throat and mentally slapped herself. "If there are still only 3-7 meter class Titans in the supply room, even this might be enough firepower to blind them."
The plan was to use the lift to lower a large amount of people through the entrance on the ceiling, they'll fire in the faces of the eight Titans in unison to blind them. And then, the eight hidden above them strike them.
Thea thought the plan was simple enough, but when she was up on the roof staring at the top of the Titans heads her heart dropped below her stomach.
She needed to kill a Titan at the same time as her peers, as if killing a Titan was dreadful for Thea to begin with. The blonde looked to her left to see Sasha with just the same expression as her, unsure.
'Will this work?'
'Can I do it?'
'What happens if I miss?'
Inside Thea's mind was a hurricane of thoughts swirling around, every thought interrupting another. She couldn't seem to focus on anything but just the head of the Titan she was supposed to kill.
Thea heard the elevator from the ceiling opening come down which made everything in her head come to a full stop. Sweat trickled her forehead and she had then found herself drenched in her own sweat of nervousness, her heart beating so loud and fast it was a miracle the Titans hadn't yet found her. Her eyes wouldn't close, she couldn't blink, she thought that if she missed closed her eyes she would miss the one shot they had and have them all killed.
Finally, the elevator got into place, with all her friends inside there. Marco, Armin... If she failed...
'No! I can't fail!'
