No matter how much Thea screamed at herself to move, her feet wouldn't budge from the position they were in. She was terrified as tears brimmed in her eyes and cascaded down her dirty cheeks. The blonde haired girl could hear Eren giving orders as he flew among the rest of her friends.

"This is our chance! Don't let it get away!"

As his voice echoed through the air, Thea found herself slowly fading out of the shock she was placed in and launched herself back to the top of the wall. The immense amount of heat made it unbearable for Thea to remain up there, but when her eyes made contact with the Colossal, she ignored the how uncomfortable her body felt.

"It's been five years." Thea spoke to herself, her voice trembling lightly, "And I'm still as terrified of you as I was that day." the blondes adrenaline began pumping up inside her as she readied herself to launch towards the Colossal until the titan began winding its arm back and swinging it forward. Thea's eyes widen as she saw that he was about to destroy the top of the wall and she jumped out of the way, hooking herself right back to the side of the wall where she was before. "Damn you!" Thea screamed from the bottom of her stomach as she began running up the wall. The canyons they were cleaning flying all around her and hitting the ground below her.

But once Thea was at the top, it was like the Colossal had never been there. She was too late.

"Eren! Did you defeat it?" Thea saw Thomas scream down the side of the wall where the Colossal titan stood and she hurried to see if the remnants of the titan where there, but it was just Eren.

"No!" The hard-headed boy replied, "It was the same as five years ago..."

Thea's heart began sinking, they were so close. "He appeared out of nowhere, and vanished just as suddenly!" Eren finished. The entire situation put a bad taste in Thea's mouth, and she couldn't help but to hold back the urge to vomit down the side of the outer gate wall.

When Eren got back up to the top of the wall, he refused to make eye-contact with Thea and the others as he apologized. "I let him get away."

"Are you dumb-witted?" Thea rhetorically asked as she bumped her head against Eren's, forcing him to look at her. "How are you supposed to defeat that thing? We don't know the slightest thing about it." She continued on, ignoring the spit that spat from her mouth onto Eren's face. "Don't apologize for being braver than the rest of us, be glad you're alive!"

"Hey, there's no time for discussion!" Interrupted Connie, "The walls been breached. If we don't patch it up quickly, the Titans will come in like before." Right after Connie finished his sentence, a Garrison soldier wizzed towards their little group. Immediately, making eye-contact with the higher up, the four of them devoted their hearts.

"What are you doing?" He started, "The contingency plan for the Colossal Titan has already begun." Soon after, another Garrison soldier appeared, "Get to HQ." The first soldier demanded.

"Anyone who made contact with it, don't forget to report it!"

"Yes, sir!" Said Eren while Connie gave his best of luck to the advance team. As soon as the Garrison units had left, the four from the 104th trainee squad rushed towards HQ in their gear. Thea could see a slight change in Eren's eyes, and when they landed in HQ, Thea placed a hand on his shoulder for comfort. It must've taken a lot to face off with the perpetrator for all of their trauma, but it seemed like Eren didn't want her comfort since he shoved her hand away. Thea wasn't shocked by his response, but it would be a lie if she said she wasn't hurt.

"You trainers have all passed the final training exercise, and how are full-fledged soldiers." Everyone around HQ rushed to get their weapons readied, cleaning canons, anything to help them against the Titans that would soon come inside Wall Rose. "We expect great things from you!"
