"As you can see, the Box brings up a new Greenie," Newt explains, rolling his eyes. The two of you stand beside the odd lift, looking down at it.

"Which this time, is you," he says, glancing your way.  "Every single month, the Box brings up a new Greenbean, but you're the first girl that has ever come.  And every week, it delivers supplies that we need. We can also make requests, and if the Creators feel like we need them, they'll send it up."

You just nod. It make sense. It would be near impossible to survive in the Glade without help.

A flash of movement catches your eye. You whirl around, finding something made of glinting silver streaking through the grass before coming to a stop. It seems to be a sort of mechanical insect... and it's looking directly at you and Newt.

"Wha- what's that?" you whisper to Newt, not daring to break eye contact with the creature.

"Don't mind it, it's only a beetle-blade," Newt says in a normal voice. "We think the Creators send them here to spy on us."

"Why do you think we're here?" you ask,  the question popping into your head. You can't believe you've just only now thought of it. "Why would they even send us to this place? It doesn't make sense."

"No one know," Newt answers. "The one thing we do know though, is that if they actually wanted us dead, they would have done it already."

On that note, Newt turns and around heads towards the center of the Glade. You follow after him, wondering the whole time why someone would wipe kids memories and throw them in a giant maze.
