As you and Newt climb the stairs to check in on the girl only an hour later, you still can't stop yourself from thinking about the girl. It shouldn't have surprised you that you wouldn't be the only girl sent up, but the way she snapped and woken for but a moment still sent shivers racing up and down your spine.
Alby bursts out of Ben's room. "Have any of you seen Ben!"
"What!" you exclaim. He can't have gotten out. You had made sure of it. It was impossible.
"He got out!" Newt yelps. "How?"
"No idea, but no one's been in there for over an hour," Alby gets out. "But that's not all. A knife is missing. Tell the others, we've gotta find him."
He races down the stairs, Newt and you racing after him. Somehow it's only then that you see the bow slung over his shoulder.
