"Really?' Newt question, his eyes wide.
"I'm sure of it. I--"
"I said shut your holes!" Alby yells. "Keep yapping and next break'll be cut in half!"
You glance at Newt, raising your eyebrows. He just shakes his head.
Alby steps towards Thomas. "It's a long story, shank. piece by piece you'll learn. I'll be taking you on the tour tomorrow. Till then, just don't break anything." He holds his hand out. "Name's Alby."
However, Thomas turns and walks to a tree and sits down.
"Then tell me," he says. "Tell me the long story. Seriously, where am I?"
Alby disappears, probably sitting down next to the newbie.
Newt nods. "Now he's getting it."
A small smile touches your lips. Maybe Alby will be able to connect with the Greenie, if only by a little.
"If you ain't scared," Alby begins, "you ain't human. Act any different and I'd throw you off the Cliff because it'd mean you're a psycho."
"And he lost it," Newt groans. "I'm going over. Check on Ben while I sort things out?"
You nod and the two of you split ways. You want to meet the Greenie for the first time in your new life, but you can't say you're disappointed, either. With the way Alby's been acting, you really don't want to deal with him.
