"I don't think this is a good idea." Chloe retorts.

"But its the most logical thing to do right now. She has definitely something to do with whatever is happening right now." Martha tries to explain.

"The logical thing would be if you would just simply visit Pandora and try to control the thing you created."

"For the first time in history, I agree with her." I nodded at Chloe and a cute frown appeared on Martha's forehead.

"You don't understand!" She clenched her jaw. "I have to know what happened between Aphrodite and I. Something definitely happened. I know it."

"How about you first control whatever you created and then talk to Aphrodite?" Lila suggested.

"No. I can't." She whined. "I did try doing that...." She said trailing off, not wanting to finish the sentence.

"But?" Chloe insisted.

I heard her breath hitch. "But I don't remember everything."

Nobody says anything for a few seconds, their eyes protruding and ready to pop out in shock and I know I have the same expression on my own face.

"What?" Chloe exclaimed in perplexion.

"It's true. I remember everything except for what I created that caused so much problem. I don't even remember what did I do to Aphrodite. All I know is that she is angry like everyone else." She blurts out.

"It's like someone is trying to make her forget it purposely." Nyx whispered, her eyes concentrated somewhere in the emptiness of the air.

"Could be." Erebus nodded. "We should talk to Oneiroi. Since Martha says that she has been dreaming about these things."

I nodded in agreement.

"Perhaps not?" Lila stuttered and everyone's eyes turned to her in skepticism. Something flashed behind her expressions which she quickly hid behind the normalcy of her face as she struggled to form proper words. "I-I mean, I had already tried contacting them before but for some reason they didn't answer back."

A sense of awakening rose in Chloe's face and she nodded frantically one too many times than it was actually needed. "Besides, Martha could definitely use some rest. She looks tired and her clothes are all wet and burnt."

Martha nodded with a big sigh, her eyes closed in laziness. I narrowed my eyes at Chloe and Lila. Something is not right.

"Certainly." Nyx considered Martha's state, her silver eyes traveling up and down her body. "Right then, I will try summoning them later some time."

Chloe and Lila glanced at each other nervously, and then nodded.

Something is definitely not right. I will ask them.

"Okay, mother. We will leave now." Chloe smiled a little and Nyx nodded. "Farewell, father."

"Farewell." He nodded at all of us and clapped my shoulders. "Take good care of my daughter." He said without expressions and I tried to smile at him and then followed out after the fates.

Martha started sleeping the moment she jumped inside my car and closed her eyes. She really is tired.  I quickly turned on the engine and a song blasted from the radio. Martha groaned in her sleep as I hurriedly muted the noises and tried my best not to hit the horn too many times, as we rode along into the city.

My eyes kept straying back to Martha's face and how innocently she slept and snored in the passenger's seat next to me. Can you believe how beautiful and fearless she is? I wondered to myself and my chain of thoughts made me concentrate on the cold air whistling around us and the light that Nyx was throwing on us with her stars and her friend, the moon.

Fascinating, I thought as I remembered Nyx throwing a spectrum of her stars across the room, the moment Martha had vanished from out of our sight's. The stars shone in the darkness in the midair, twinkling with rainbow colors.

And then I had seen Martha in the dark space of the room, stranded and alone, near a shore.

I couldn't seem to close my mouth when I saw her. My ex-girlfriend. Cassandra.

"Daughter of Nyx, my eyes are green like you.   Meddling with people's life thread is my passion too."

Of course, it could be her.

Why did I never think that she could be the one behind the mask, stalking me from outside my bedroom?

Does that mean that she planned all this? Martha and I in love?

But why would she do that?

I shook my head and regretted the moment a jolt of pain surged through a point at the nape of my neck and extended its branches in the depths of my brains. I am tired too. Though surely not as much as Martha who swam across the rivers of the underworld but tired, still after not being able to sleep for twenty four hours.

My eyes darted a second to the backseat where Chloe and Lila sat, tensed and conflicted. They are hiding something. I know it and I am going to find out soon.

I pulled up in front of Martha's house and lightly shook her to consciousness but she groaned and went back to sleep with my hand under her arms as if she was hugging a pillow. I sighed and slowly removed out from her clutches and slid out the car.

Jogging to Martha's side, I tried my best not to wake Martha as I opened the door to her side and carried her in my arms, bridal style, inside the house and upstairs into her bedroom.

Martha let out a faint humming from her mouth as I dropped her to bed and kissed her soft pink lips. "You are cold." I observed aloud and took her in my arms, propping her sleepy being in a sitting position. She whined a little, her face scrunched up in a frown and I kissed her hair.

Very quickly,  I went to her wardrobe and fished for new clean clothes from her wardrobe. I found an orange woolen sweatshirt which said 'panda-love' and a pair of black leggings with a pair of woolen socks.

Martha yawned loudly and sighed in defeat as I handed her her clothes. I smiled and she gave me a bored look.

"What?" I asked her.

"Turn around." She grinned at me, her eyes still half closed.

"Do I have to?" I pout, turning around anyway and heard the soft ruffling sound of her clothes fitting her beautiful tiny body. I bit my tongue when a familiar clench of desire woke below my stomach as I thought of her beauty.

"Turn." She said and I gladly turned around, and found her lazily smiling up at me. I grinned at her and leaned down to grab her lower lip with my teeth. She moaned in my mouth and I smiled as kissed her whole mouth.

"I thought- I-would-never-see-you-again." I tell her in between kisses and she quietly kisses back.

"I love you." Martha tells me when I finally let go of her. I breathe heavily and grin at her.

"I love you so much. Go to sleep, now." I told her and she nodded.

"Where are you going?" I heard her say and realized where my feet were taking me.

"Going to drink some water. I'll be back. Don't wait for me." I replied hurriedly and stomped down the stairs and to my disappointment, found the main hall empty. Looks like the sisters have gone to sleep and now I can't ask them about the things they are hiding. I sigh audibly as I meekly ascend the stairs and enter Martha's bedroom.
