"Are you sure that we will find Martha here?" I asked Lila, rubbing my hands together to create warmth and she nodded, her eyes searching the empty halls inside what was called the- 'Palace of Doves.'

I yawned a little when suddenly a finger poked me from behind and I froze in my position. If Chloe and Lila are standing in front of me, then who the fuck poked-

"Sir?" I heard a familiar voice call from behind me and slowly I swing back.

No.

No, it can't be her.

Her big round green eyes eyed me up and down, and widened even more than before in surprise. It felt like a bolt from the blue as I stared at her incredulously, her eyes mirroring my own confusion.

"What are you doing here?" Cassandra and I asked each other in unison.

"You guys know each other?" Lila frowned at us.

"Wait, you guys know each other?" I oscillated my finger between my ex girlfriend, Cassandra and my current girlfriend's sisters. Of course, they know each other. Martha saw her before she met King Minos, the judge of the underworld. They obviously have some connection. What was the term that Lila had used to refer her...Ah, a siren!

I grimaced at the thought.

Could I not have dated one normal mortal girl?

"Small world." Cassandra rolled her eyes, her lips curled down into a distasteful expression and I narrowed my eyes at her.

"How small?" I gave her a straight smile and she scowled at me.

"Anyway, you guys can't stay here." Cassandra looked at Lila and Chloe.

"Why?" I frowned at her.

"Because I have been given orders." She gritted her teeth.

"Well, we don't believe you!" I glared at her and something flashed behind her expressions.

"Oh, move over, Austin. Let me handle this." Chloe pushed me aside but I interjected.

"No. Don't believe a word she says. Don't you remember what we all saw in that thing that Nyx created to see Martha meet King Minos. She was there! She is a siren!"

"She is not a siren, Austin. Sirens' deliberately take people's shape and features to lure the said people into their trap. She is a mortal, daughter of the King Of Troy." Lila explained and I willingly did not bring myself to believe any of it they said in her favour.

"Cassandra, have you seen Martha?" Chloe asked her and Cassandra shakes her head in 'no'.

"She is a liar!" I told them.

"Shut up, Austin." The three of them told me and I desperately started to miss Martha. I hope she is fine right now or else, I am going to murder every other soul I am going to come across.

"They are not here?" Lila frowned at Cassandra and she shook her head.

"She is probably in the workshop."

"What? Tapestry workshop? Why would she be there?" I asked impatiently?

"Not the tapestry workshop, you idiot. Aphrodite's workshop. Matched."

"Come on, we don't have much time." Lila said already turning away to leave and I frowned.

"No, wait! We don't know if she is telling the truth." I pointed at Cassandra. "What if Martha is here?" I argued.

"You have to believe me." Cassandra spits at me with a clench in her jaw.

"I don't believe you at all." I said and heard her murmur an 'of-course. Thanks to Augury.'
