Chapter 20

I still can't believe that this huge mansion am staring at is Cole's or that he lives here ALONE.

I step out of the car, Cole holds out the door for me like a gentleman, the first thing I see is the huge living room, beautiful chandeliers decorate the ceiling of the room with four comfortable couch with throw pillows on each side magnifying the room with there presence,the room has a center table which is made of glass and a huge vase decorated with flowers on it and on one side of the couch there is a table where magazines of different types are kept.

"Wow, nice place." I said as I walk round the room and I notice a stairs leading upstairs.

"Thanks, I get that a lot." He scratching the back of his head.

"I need to take a shower." I said.

"Oh yeah take a shower in my room while I arrange the guest room." He said and I just stared at him." My room is the second to on the left."

"Thanks." I murmur as I made my way to the room described. As I entered his room I was surprised I expected his room to be scartted like normal teenager boys but everything was in order, his bed occupied half of the room and his desk was at the far end of the room close to the balcony I guess he loves the view.

In no time I found the bathroom and I  stripped off my cloth and took a hot shower rubbing the remaining dried blood off, after the long shower I found a towel which I tied around my body.

I came out of the bathroom and the curious me took over and I started snooping around even though it's wrong tell that to my curious side, I saw a box at the far end of the room I dragged the box closer and opened it, it was filled pictures, pictures of his childhood, family and friends but it was a particular picture that drew my attention it was a picture we both took when we were still dating.

"Ashley." Cole called before entering the room and I quickly returned the box back.

"Oh my gosh am sorry." Cole said as I was still in towel.

"Don't be, Cole I don't have a spear cloth." I said.

"You can wear mine though." Cole offered.

"Really thanks." I said relived.

"But you look better in towel." Cole teased.

"Cole!!" I exclaimed laughing.

Cole gave me his T-shirt which I changed into it was a little bit baggy and it was also knee- length so I was comfortable.

"Can you please show me the guest room." I sheeplishly ask.

"Of course let me lead you there." Cole said getting the door for me and led me to a room opposite his room.

The room was quite big painted white with pictures of different leafs which decorated the room the room.

"Nice room." I say sitting on the bouncy bed.

"Thanks." He said taking a seat next to me." Ash do you want to talk about it." He says.

" I rather not." I replied sitting on the bed which is also bouncy.

"Good night Ash." He says waving.

"Good night Cole." I wave back.

Immediately he steps out I lay on the bed which was very soft underneath and waited patiently for sleep to overtake me but I wasn't sleepy at all.

10minutes has passed and yet I couldn't sleep I was so bored so I stood up.

"Should I wake him, would he be asleep I should probably go to his room." I went out of the room and stayed at Cole's door for a second and breathe out I stood there thinking whether this was a wrong idea until I knocked.

Almost immediately I heard the ruffling of sheets and his footsteps until he opened the door.

"Hi." I said smiling trying to ignore the fact that he his actually shirtless and his abs oh my gosh he his so sexy with his shirt off look at those muscles and he has six packs.

"Eyes over here darling." He says chuckling.

Don't tell me I was drooling over his abs I mean who wouldn't with a abs like that I could look at it all day, come on Ashley enough of the dirty thoughts.

"Am sorry did I wake you." I said trying to look at anything but him.

"No I couldn't sleep." He says.

"Same here." I smile.

"Come in." He says opening the door wide for me to walk through.

"So.." I try to start up a conversation." Dating Kaitlyn now huh how did that happen."

"Don't want to talk about it." He says bluntly.

I nod to be sincere I also don't want to here about it but since there was nothing to talk about." Who would have thought you'd gain so much popularity in just few weeks."

"Well with a face like this that was expected." He tease and I laugh.

"Are you trying to say you are cute because honestly you are far from it." I say still laughing.

"Really." He says and comes closer to me and I jump back in surprise but he holds my wrist firmly and asks"what am I then."

I could not talk it's like I suddenly went mute, I felt the urge to cup his cheek and I did I must be really crazy but I didn't care at least not at that moment, he was shocked but later he relaxes into my hands his brown eyes drowning me and I moved closer to him.

I didn't know what got into me but what I did know was that I pulled Cole closer to me and I kissed him, it took few seconds to register this but one moment I was in control and the next he suddenly lifts me off the floor and drops me lightly on the bed without breaking the kiss, Cole was in control.

The kiss which was slow became urgent Cole held me waist and drew me closer like he could not get enough of me I couldn't too.

Cole's which was once on before was gone in an instant and I trailed my hands across his chest and his abs.

"Ashley." He muttered and I ruffled his hair massaging his scalp.

Cole turned us over so that I was on top of him which made his T-shirt which I was wearing go higher and I ride him kissing him deeply enjoying the wave of emotion inside me then it hit me, I shouldn't be doing this Cole has a girlfriend who he probably loves and I am just his ex-girlfriend who needed help, so I did what was right at the moment I stopped kissing him.

"You were kind of a rebound to me...... I was hurting at that momentand you happened to be there.... Believe me I tried to love you but I don't knowone can't tell the heart what to do." I remembered Cole's word from two years ago and it stung my heart.

"What's wrong." Cole asks touching my back and I immediately stood up.

"I need to go home." I say.

"Home! At this time I thought you were staying over?" He asks worriedly.

"I just need to go home." I say opening the door.

"Ashley." Cole calls and follow me quickly getting his shirt from the bed." Let me at least take you home."

I nod and he leads me outside looking at me curiously but I avoid his look all together as he drives me home.
