In A Heartbeat

Chapter 14

Normally after school I should be on my way home or going shopping with Andrea but no I have detention, what more I have to put up with that jerk....

I pack my bag and on my way to detention I bump into something more like someone who caught me from falling as soon as I looked up I saw the familiar face of Dayne Matthews,yeah it was Dayne alright as soon as he saw me let go of his's hands from my waist making me land flat on my buttocks.

"Ouchhh!!! That hurts." I whined, getting up from the floor to rub my buttock.

"Then you should have watched were you were going." Dayne said in disgust.

"What the hell is wrong with you."I screamed not giving a fuck about the noise I was making.

"Am not the one with the problem." He screamed back.

"I don't recollect doing anything to you......" He pulled me to a classroom and put a hand on my lips and told me to keep quiet, he then move closer to me and whispered in my ears "You wanna know what you did,let me show you." He said in a husky voice.

I felt butterflies in my stomach as I felt his hot breath fan across my skin and the fact that we were so close made me go numb.....

I tried to move away ignoring whatever I felt in my stomach, but only made him move closer his well defined chest met mine and I felt this electric shock all over me,he took me by the waist and brought me closer to himself and crashed his lips unto mine.

His lips were soft and tasted like honey just like I imagined, I loved the scent of his cologne which smelt like rose my favorite flower,soon the kiss deepened as he tug me closer holding my waist firmly and I slipped my hands into his hair slowly massaging his scalp.

Soon his tongue seeked for entrance and I let him in,he fought for dominance and he won, when we were both out of breath we stopped to catch our breathe.

fter a moment of silence between us Dayne finally spoke up. "Ash,can I have a word with you?"

"Sure." I replied not sure of what he wanted to talk about.

"Could you perhaps do me a favor." She said looking into my eyes then away.

"If I can,tell me the favor in question." I said unsure about what the favor would be but it made her nervous.

"I want you to forget about the kiss and act like nothing happened,it was a mistake I was just caught up in the moment it should have never happened." He dropped the bomb, my mind went places I was angry and heartbroken how dare he?

"Ash,ash say something,are you willing to let it go be mature things like this happen all the time its no big deal." He said.

Hearing that from Dayne made her sick "be mature","things like this happen all the time?" But never to her how dare he play with her feelings.

"Dayne I thought you were different, but you turned out to be just like the rumors says consider everything forgotten." I said and walked out of there hurriedly before I break down and cry because the last thing I want is to show my weakness to Dayne.

I walked to detention luckily I was on time and I handed the coordinator my detention slip and to take a sit near the window not quite long Dayne followed taking the sit behind me I didn't want to be reminded of earlier for I plugged in my earpiece and listened to music to while away time....

After detention I got home weary and tired, when I got home I saw my Dad packing his things ready to move I was reminded of their divorce once again I headed to my room,I sat on my bed thinking my life which I thought was perfect would never be the same again.

I thought if Dayne and what he did to me and the tears that have being fighting came rolling down,I cried uncontrollably I couldn't fight it I was so lost broken and torn apart, I realized I wasn't that strong afterall it was just a face that I put on in which I was really weak on the inside.

"I can't believe Dayne would do such to me."I mused to myself while sniffing my tears.

"Oh my Dad, I can't believe I won't be with my Dad anymore." I said to myself again, and fresh tears poured out of my eyes.

As I was crying I unconsciously slept off admist tears............
