Today is Monday!!

Meaning another week of school ugh!

After the weekend am back in the crowded halls of Grapevine high school.

With freshly found confidence I strut through the school's hall in my black laced up heeled booties, I toss my  loosely curled blonde hair over my shoulder.

As I'm walking down the hall, I feel a lot of eyes on me this have been happening a lot after my change of personality I guess I decided to loosen up and shed my nerdy ways,well apart from getting straight A's.

I make it to AP history class,there were couple of other people in the class, but most people are still loitering in the halls savouring their last few precious moment of freedom.

I walked into the class upon entering I saw Cole,I sigh in resignation and sat as far away from him as possible, immediately I settle down and decided to do a last minute revision until Kaitlyn came into the class and ruined the moment.

"Hey babe." Kaitlyn's high pitched voice rang out which makes me look up at her as she sashayed over to Cole sitting on his lap kissing his cheeks. I widened my eyes at this little action, Cole eyes trailed over to where I sat and I looked back at him.

Take your eyes off him, don't look at him! The inner me said but no I didn't listen I continue to stare at him in disbelief and he looked away from me and faces Kaitlyn holding her chin and bringing her closer to him and he kissed her she was quite surprised at first but she relaxed and kissed him back never have I felt to hurt as I watch the two of them making out the rest of the class cheering them.

They pull away from each other breathless and he looks back at me and smirk at me. It was a mischievous smirk as if telling me I wish I were her, he his mocking me I thought irritated I look away from him I should have just look back before I saw them kiss.

I told you so..

I continue to do my revision but I couldn't concentrate the image of Cole and Kaitlyn kissing played in my mind repeatedly and what I couldn't get out of my head was the way he smirk at me.

The teacher enters into the class asking for an overdue assignment which we turn in after that the starts the days lecture.

I tried hard to concentrate but I couldn't I had the urge to turn back at Cole and look at him but I didn't because anytime I remember Cole and Kaitlyn making out something stirs up in the pit of my stomach but I don't know what.

Maybe you are jealous

Jealous no I don't think so  it's not like I have a crush on Cole right he broke my heart before and he his doing it again.

So you do like him.

I think am crazy am talking to myself.

"Miss Baxter I asked you a question." Mr Aaron our history teacher say loudly irritated bringing me back to reality.

"Sir." I stand up.

"You look so distracted anything the matter." He asks at me and I hear the rest of the class snicker.

I don't like this,it's affecting more than it should.

"Nothing is wrong with me." I didn't want my voice to come out harsh but it did.

He looks taken aback. "Sit down."

After math, Andrea excitedly pulls me through the halls towards the cafeteria while talking intensely about something I do not pay attention to since my mind is pretty occupied as well.

The Cafeteria is bursting with loud and hungry teenagers Andrea and I join the line and both order spaghetti and meat balls we were heading to usual spot until someone voice stops us in our track.

"Hey guys sit with us." Kaitlyn says and I stare at her in disbelief.

"Sorry we can't we don't want to disturb you." I say.

"You are not disturbing right Cole." We look at Cole who nods his head.

I look at Andrea for help as she moves closer to their table I shake my head but instead she ignores me and sit opposite Kaitlyn and I have no other choice so I tag along sitting beside Andrea opposite Cole.

Kaitlyn instant leans close to Cole as if she is staking her claim as she smiles at us mischievously.

I clench my teeth hiding my fisted hands under the table.

"Do you know?" Kaitlyn voice trails off breaking the silence.

"Know what?." Andrea asks through stuffed mouth.

"That  Cole is my boyfriend." I choke on my spaghetti, I turn my head slowly and run my gaze both of them for a second, I could feel Cole's striking brown eyes surrounded by long thick eyelashes looking at me but I look away from him as I see him wrap  his hand around her and kisses the side of her head without taking his eyes off me, Kaitlyn giggles and he smirks at me for the second time today.

"That's really cool." I tried to sound happy for them but deep down all I feel like doing is wipe that smile off Kaitlyn face.
