Bree's pov

One month, it's been one month since Cameron left without even a explanation.
One month, since I've talked to him.
One month, without the boy that I fell for left me.
Why? why does this always happen to me? why do I get hurt constantly. The thing that hurts the most is the fact he'll ignore my calls and texts. He'll read all of my messages but not replies which is slowly killing me. I haven't self harmed since that one night a month ago. I'm only numb, I do most of my classes on computer so I don't have to leave my dorm. Thankfully I don't have to go through this alone. Now that Chelsea found out how much I like him, she promised not to go for him and slowly I'm getting better. But I'm half a heart without him. today is Friday so I'm going home to visit my family because it's my brothers 16th birthday, thankfully I don't have to rely on anyone for a car because now I have one; but i decided to bring Chelsea along with me.
"You ready?" I weakly smiled as Chelsea walked up to my car, bag in tow.
"Yepp! I'm so excited to meet your mom and brother" she smiled while clapping her hands.
"Yeah, like I've warned before my mother can be judgemental so don't take anything to heart. I think she only means well" I laughed.
"Okay .. Have you got ahold of Cameron yet?" she said giving me a sympathetic look.
"Nope but no talk about him I want this weekend to me all smiles" I said turning the radio on
"God I love Aerosmith!" Chelsea screamed as 'Dream On' blared throughout my trucks speakers.
"Same here!" I laughed as she began screaming the lyrics just a little too loud but it was okay. It put me in a better mood, throughout the song I began to sing with her.
"Are we almost there yet?" Chelsea groaned
"Chel it's only been 20 minutes" I laughed
"Sooooo"
"Not much longer" I giggled
"Good" she said while snapping a picture of me driving as I flicked her off.
"We're here" I smiled as I saw my brother on the front porch with mark
"Hey why is mark here?" Chelsea laughed as I parked the car
"Oh I forgot to tell you, mark is my brothers boyfriend"
"Holy fuck I didn't even know he was gay" she said as her cheeks flushed
"Why are you blushing?" I winked
"I used to have a crush on him in my freshman year don't laugh lets just move on" she giggled while jumping out of my truck.
"Bree!!!!" Ethan screamed while running to me and hugging me so hard that I couldn't breathe
"Okay I love you and all but release me" i giggled
"Sorry" he said stepping back while smiling at me
"Hi I'm Ethan" ethan smiled at Chelsea
"Chelsea" she smiled back as Mark walked over
"Hey chelsea" mark smiled
"Hey"

I spoke up because lets face it, it was getting awkward.

"Lets to inside" I laughed
"Mom isn't home yet" Ethan said
"Oh okay well me and Chelsea are gonna go chill in my room."
LOkay we'll be outside" Ethan said as I dragged Chelsea inside.
"Make yourself at home" I said as she plopped only my bed
"Mind if I take a nap?" she laughed
"Okay that's fine I'll go chill in the living room" I smiled while pulling out my phone.
"Thanks" she mumbled as I closed the door.

Once I opened up my phone I saw a name flash across the screen that I had been waiting to see for a month.

"Cameron?!" I said answering the phone as I stepped out into the back porch. I didn't want anyone to hear me.
"I miss you" he mumbled
"Then why did you leave?" I said as tears threatened to come out
"I didn't want to hurt you"
"Well leaving is what hurt me Cameron" I spoke quietly. I heard him sigh
"Is the bunk in your room still available?" He said as my heartbeat began to race, was he thinking about coming back?
"Yes"
"I'll come back" he said as I started crying.
"Y.. you will?"
"Yeah I know the Dean, Travis well enough. He'll let me come back" he said as I began smiling.
"Thank you Cameron it's been rough"
"You're welcome I have to go"
"Okay" i mumbled, then the line went silent for a few seconds.
"Hello?" I spoke.
"I can't wait to see you" he said then hung up. I put my phone back in my pocket and felt like my heart was going to fall out of my chest. Why does he have this huge affect on me? we're not even dating yet I'm so excited.

"Bree?" i heard my mother say
"Hey" I smiled
"Sweetheart are you okay? you've been crying" she said walking over to me.
"Oh no tears of joy mom don't worry" I laughed while wiping my face.
"Oh okay, where's your friend?" She smiled while hugging me
"Oh she's taking a power nap" I laughed
"Oh okay well I know I just got home but I need to go to the store to get food for Ethan's party tomorrow want anything?"
"Nope I'm good I have everything I need" I smiled
"Okay well I'll be back." She said walking back into the house.

The only thing I need is Cameron. And he's not even ready for a relationship.
