Chapter 51

Bree's pov-
*5 months later*

Today is my 5 month check up and I'm extremely happy to find out the sex of my child. Only thing making me upset today is the fact Cameron isn't here. It's been 5 months today that he left me a note saying things were over.

*flashback*

"Cameron?" I said stepping into our room after getting a few things from the store.
No answer.
"Cameron? Babe? You here?" I said setting down the bags. That's when I saw it, the note. I quickly picked it up and began to read it.

'Dear Bree ..
I'm sorry I'm doing this on a stupid note and I'm sorry that I didn't say goodbye. But it's over, for good. I'm too broken to be fixed and all I'm doing is bringing you down with me. I'm the darkness .. And I can't let it consume you like it has me.
Goodbye , Bree.'

I looked at the note in disbelief. He's gone .. it's done. I picked up the phone and dialed Travis' number.
"Hello?"
"It's bree" I said trying to sound like I haven't been crying.
"I can't tell you where he is Bree I'm sorry" he said
"I'm pregnant .. With his kid. I can't do this by myself! We created this child together! He promised not to be like his dad! Yet he left me!" I shouted into the phone, i was more hurt at the fact he left our baby than me.
"As his best friend .. I'll help you out okay hun?"
"Okay .. Thank you so much Travis it means the world to me"
*end of flashback*
and that's what Travis has done. He's kept his promise. These past 5 months Travis has been my rock along with Chelsea. it's slowly getting better, but I'm still missing Cameron.
"Ready to go?" Travis smiled
"Yeah" I said trying to act as if I wasn't going to cry.
"What's wrong"
"It's five months today he left"
"Like I've told you countless times he's safe"
"Okay" I said grabbing my purse as we walked out to the parking lot.

"You asked about the sex last time correct?" My doctor, Brittany said while moving the thing across my belly as Travis smiled from the chair across the room.
"Yes ma'am" I smiled, I hope it's a girl.
"Well looks like you're having a baby boy" she smiled
"Aww" I said tearing up, a baby boy. I was overjoyed.
"Looks like around May you'll be having him. That's 4 months from now, but you never know he might be born a month later around June 5th" she smiled as she began to rub the jelly off my stomach.
"Well thank you" I smiled
"You're welcome"
"You want to go get something to eat?" Travis smiled
"Yeah that would be great" I smiled at up him.
I was on top of the world right now, with only one small problem ...
I was falling for Travis ...
