A/N: another one! I'm leaving you on a cliffhanger again. Also, I have decided to say stuff at the beginning of each chapter just because I've seen it being done in other stories. I don't know. Don't want to keep you from reading any longer, so just consider commenting and voting if you feel like it. I like hearing from you guys! Also, here's a question I want answered, but you don't have to if you really don't want to:
Would any of you like to read original work from me? Like, not fanfiction but my very own book? Because I'm planning right now, but I'm kinda lacking purpose and motivation, but I REALLY want to write my idea so please tell me what you think I should do. I'm needy, I know and I can't make decision for shit... yeah. Have fun reading, babies!

(Haven't spell checked yet, my program's still not working. Sorry in advance...)

Spencer could only stare in horror at the scene he was met with.

The entire left side of the hotel's third floor had been taken out by the blast, the building next to it almost equally as damaged. It was horrifying; the flames ate through the facade like acid would eat through skin.

He got out of the car, followed by JJ — she had conducted the press conference just before Garcia broke the news to them — and together, they sprinted towards Hotch.

Hotch excused the medic after finishing their conversation and catching a glimpse of his team approaching the scene. He greeted the duo with a frown. "You guys heard what happened?" He asked.

"Yeah, on the news," said JJ.

Spencer looked around, but he couldn't spot the familiar faces. His hand patted against his leg nervously. Where is she? The bad feeling only worsened when he saw the body bags being rushed out of the building. The many injured victims in the ambulances groaned, but even there he couldn't spot someone he knew. Someone he wanted to see — needed to see because god help him, not knowing made him so incredibly nervous, he just wanted to escape this situation by turning back time or rather something more scientifically possible.

Spencer swallowed the lump in his throat, looking back at Hotch. His boss eyed him intently. "Where are Sky and Morgan?" He tried to sound casual, but his brown eyes betrayed him with the sparkle of fear. Fear that he could've lost his friends — her, Morgan • and fear that his and her last conversation could've been a stupid argument born from both their built up tension. Fear...

"Sky and Morgan are fine," — his insides made a backflip — "Smith and Rondell had three security guards waiting for us in there. It was probably an illegally purchased M67. The grenade took the entire third floor out..." Aaron held the door open for them.

Knowing Sky was alive only caused temporary relief; the fear was still very real, and Spencer couldn't stop his limbs from shaking.

"They set a trap?" JJ asked.
