Her green look at his Red

She wandered through the car park aimed with her radio and her sidekick, Lev. He strutted one foot in front of the other as his boots clattered against the tarmac and his stethoscope bounced around his neck as their eyes lock onto one another and her green looked at his red.

A massive grin broadened over Ruby's face as she yelled Iain!" Iain smirked and looked slightly to the floor, before locking his eyes again locked onto hers. Ruby jogged over to him as her belt rattled as her body bounced from head to toe.

He said" Ruby!"

Ruby said"" Guess what your charming, handsome intelligent fiancé has only gone and booked herself on a rapid response shift, which means she gets to drive this."

She pointed to to a bright yellow motorbike, a white motorbike helmet labelled "paramedic" hung from the handle bars.

Iain said" You know I'm not the one to be won over by expensive dangerous exhaust roaring vehicles. I see the injured from the miss-use of them everyday!" Ruby said" Oh come on love, you've got to admit I was born to ride this thing!" She hopped one leg over the bike and sat tall holding onto the handles of the motorbike. Ruby also said" Besides I have the training, I know how to drive this thing, I'm not stupid enough to drive mad and crash!"

He smirked, she smirked back.

Lev awkwardly stood, armed with his basic hot chocolate. He only dreamed of a posh hot chocolate with extra cream and marshmallows.

Lev then said" You know Iain. Your soon to be wife isn't as loyal as she makes out. She's ditched me for a motorbike which means I'm left spending a shift with" he whispered.

Lev  said" The boss. I'm definitely going to mess up! I'll be in her office by the end of the day" but Ruby said to Lev" The problem is sweet baby Lev, you just love me so much it hurts your junior heart too much for me to leave your side. Come on mate, it's time you grew some balls.

Iain said" Right I'll leave you two to fight this out. I'm off to find Dixie. Still on for tonight Ruby?

Ruby turned to walk away but still looked at the love of her life.

Ruby said " Yep my shift finishes around 5 but thanks to the NHS cuts you'll be lucky to have me back by 6!"

Iain said" I'm used to it and I'll met you back at home, quickly get dressed and then I'll escort my gorgeous woman to dinner!"

Ruby said" Sounds like a plan."

There was a pause.

Iain said" Oh and be careful Ruby as I don't want to see a single graze on you! We're getting married next week!"

He turned away and walked into the building where the HEMS headquarters were based.

Before he fully entered Ruby shouted" I love you!"

Lev gave Ruby "the look" as Lev said" Oh stop it, you!"

Ruby jokingly walloped Lev around the head.

Ruby laughed and said "I can't help it mate! I'm in love with him!" It's time you got yourself a woman then you wouldn't care less about my own love life."

"I've been thinking." Lev swiftly changed the topic.

Ruby said" Go on."

Lev said" Do you think Jan would sign me up for a course to learn how to ride on one of these?"

Lev pointes to the motorbike with his hand which still held his basic hot chocolate."

Ruby laughed and said" Haha in your dreams Lev! Jan doesn't trust you with the mop and bucket!'

Lev said" Aw, but it would most certainly pull me a relationship or two."

Ruby rolled her eyes.
