Reunited-A Reynico Fanfiction

[Chapter 3]

Sorry for the late chapter! I didn't know what to write, and I am very talkative when I talk to my friends. I speak as twice as fast as them, but they understand me anyway. So I have a habit of saying twice as much as others and I tend to write too much and it takes me time to delete unnecessary stuff in my writing... so here's the book.

*Hazel's pov*
I was in the 5th bus with the rest of the 5th cohort. Frank the cat wasleeping on my lap. (Frank turned into a cat after 30 minuets of riding and started sleeping.) Most were sleeping or listening to music through...uh...aha! Earphones! Yes. It was called earphones. Anyway, I was not used to modern vehicles, and the bus just kept me awake. Maybe because it was the rumbling of the engine. I have to admit, it sounded pretty scary. Dakota was finishing his third can of kool-aid which was hard because it was a bumpy ride. If the bus wasn't bouncing, he would have finished at least 10 cans. Nico was sleeping at the seat across from mine and Frank's Reyna sat next to him looking at the scenery outside.

"Reyna." I whispered. "How much longer do we have to go? Everyone seems so bored."

"What?" She mouthed.

  I gestured Reyna to come closer. Reluctantly, Reyna leaned over sleeping Nico.

"Are we there yet?" I whispered.

"We have six more hours to go. Even if we enchanted this buses to go fast, going across the country is a long distance. We could stop after 10 minutes and get some fresh air and food. There's McDonalds, convenient stores, and a gas station."

"Yeah that's a great idea."

  Reyna told the driver to stop at a nearby rest stop.

"McDonalds?" Nico sat up and Reyna and Nico bumped their heads. I thought they both blushed a little, but at the next second, it was gone. Maybe my eyes were a little tired.

"Ow! Nico, watch where you're sleeping!"

"Sorry Reyna. But your head is as hard as a...."

"Diamond?" I suggested. "What? A diamond is harder than steel!" Well... I became sort of an expert on gems thanks to my power.

"We're here!" Reyna announced. "Everybody wake up if you are hungry, if you need to use the bathroom, or if you need some fresh air. And remember, you have to use mortal money, and don't show your weapons unless a monster attacks you. Now, you have 1hour to do whatever you want, but do NOT break the mortal laws."

  Everyone cheered, and got off the bus. Reyna, Nico, Frank, and I decided to IM our friends in Camp Half-Blood. After that, we went to where Nico insisted to go-McDonalds. These new technology were great! Burgers and french fries were the best invention ever! No wonder Nico who does not like eating loves them.
After we all got into the bus, I was fast asleep. The food made everybody in the bus sleepy even though it was only 2 in the afternoon. Apparently, the demigods were tired because they did their best to do nothing.
  I was the first one awake, and it was 5:30 and in 30 minuets, we would arrive at camp and meet our friends. I found out I was cuddling with cat Frank. It would be embarrassing if someone saw us. I blushed and looked around to see if anyone's awake. 'Phew.' I thought. Nobody saw us. Hold on, Reyna and Nico were sleeping on each other! Back in my first life, sleeping on each other was not a common thing. I still cannot believe how much the word has changed in a few decades. But I don't think sleeping on each other became common.
  While I was thinking very seriously, we arrived at CHB. The bus screeched to a halt, and that woke everyone. Reyna and Nico bumped their heads again, Dakota spilled his kool-aid, and Frank turned back into a human. I was in the first row, so Frank and I was the one to get out first, followed by Nico and Reyna and the rest of the cohort.

"Legion!" Reyna shouted. "We have arrived."

"Look! The Romans are here!" Someone from CHB said, and the camp cheered welcomingly.

"Romans!" Said Chiron. "Welcome to camp Half-blood. Please make yourself at home. We built a new building for guests. It will be a bit small, so you could stay at your Greek sibling's cabin if you want. The Hunters will be coming the day after tomorrow with the Amazons."

"Thank you, Camp Half-Blood. Legion, we should be unpacking. I will be on the first room on the first floor for you guys to find me easily. Go to either your sibling's cabin or the guest building."

*Reyna's pov*
  Hazel went to Hades cabin with Nico, and Frank decided to stay in the second room on the first floor for praetor duties.
  The guest building was like a hotel. My room, room 101 was fantastic. There was a queen-sized bed that would fit at least 3 people, a TV, a prism near the window for Iris-Messaging, a desk next to the bed with a very comfortable chair, and the bathroom had a gigantic roman bathtub. Whoever designed this should be praised.
  While I was admiring, someone knocked the door. It was Piper.

"Hi Piper."

"Hi Reyna. We are having a snack party at Percy's cabin. You did not have dinner, right?"
I nodded.

"You must be hungry. Come join us!"
