I got 1k reads! 1K!!!!! I can't believe it! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Words aren't enough for my gratitude.
I think you guys probably won't read the bold part - I know because I don't - so here's the chapter!

Nico suddenly became self-conscious.

He hoped Reyna didn't notice his shaking hands.

He hoped Reyna didn't notice that it took longer than needed to braid Reyna's hair.

He hoped Reyna would turn around and kiss him.

Wait, you should erase the last part. That definitely wasn't what Nico was thinking.

Nico noticed that the sky was dark, without any visible stars. Hedge wouldn't have liked it. Satyrs hate air pollution.

"Yeah. He would probably go running around factories waving his baseball bat." Reyna said.

"H-how much have I said aloud?" Nico asked. He noted that he should try not to think aloud.

"Only the Hedge part." Reyna said. "Why? What were you thinking about?"

"Nothing."

The metal dogs that were sitting under the tree growled.

"You know you shouldn't say 'nothing' in front of my dogs." Reyna said.

Reyna turned her head to Nico's direction.

Nico's heart started running a marathon.

They were only inches apart.

Snap!

A twig snapped behind them.

They turned around to see Leo with a camera.

"Ugh. Bad Leo." Leo said. "Why can't you sneak up behind people and not be seen?" Leo hit himself with his fist. "Ow."

"Valdez." Reyna didn't look too happy to see him. "Can you explain what you were doing here?"

"Uhhh... I was just passing by?" Leo said.

Reyna pinned Leo down with her javelin-dagger that was hidden in her sandal under her dress. Leo looked very frightened. An angry Reyna was in the top five of his 'must avoid' list.

"What. Were. You. Doing. Here?" Reyna asked.

Leo smiled sheepishly.

Reyna took Leo's camera. "Taking pictures of others without permission violates the rights of their portraits." Reyna said.

She looked through the pictures, and when she found no pictures if her, she gave the camera back to Leo.

"Nothing will happen between us, so sneak up your camera somewhere else. Do. You. Understand?" Reyna said.

The metal dogs growled.

Leo, scared of both the dogs and Reyna, ran away with his camera.

Nobody knew back then that Reyna's dogs didn't growl at Leo, but at Reyna's words; 'nothing will happen between us'.

Piper groaned as she looked away from her binoculars.

"It would have succeeded if it wasn't for Leo!" Lacy said.

"He deserves to have detention!" Hannah said.

"Detention? Seriously?"

"What? I hate detention!"

"Who doesn't?"
