[Chapter 23]

It's 7:30 am. I'm awake(of course duh. I'm writing this) and it's foggy outside. Too thick to see the building right next to the apartment I'm living in. Maybe the venti are messing around here.

Anyway, here's the chappie!

"How much do you remember about yourself?" Will asked Reyna. "I'm Reyna, the praetor of the twelfth legion fulminata." She answered. "I've been at Camp Jupiter for two years, and-"

"Wait, two years?" The pale boy cut her. "You've been about four years there."

"But I have only two lines here." Reyna showed her forearm.

"You're supposed to have four." Will told her. "Two somehow got erased."

"But how?" Reyna asked. "Only a god can do that."

"Maybe Aphrodite did." The boy who was still sitting beside her said. "When she took two years from you."

"What? Why did she do that? Did I anger her?" Reyna asked.

"Nico, you explain what happened to her. I'll get the seven." Will said.

'So he's Nico.' Reyna thought.

"You really don't remember me?" Nico asked.

"Sorry." Reyna replied.

"You don't have to be sorry." Nico sighed. "I think Aph-Venus erased your memory."

Reyna gave him the 'please continue' look.

"We delivered something to the guard of Olympus." Nico said. "And Apollo gave us a tour of it. Athena gave us two copies of a book about monsters as a thank-you gift. Then Aphrodite wanted to give you a present, so she took two years away from you."

"What? Why is that a present?" Reyna asked. "And I've been to Olympus? Wait. Why are you using greek names?"

"Well... you are in a greek camp." Nico said. "Two camps existed. There was a war between us, but we eventually made peace. Your camp was visiting us and were supposed to leave tomorrow..."

The door knocked and Will and the seven came in.

"You!" Reyna lunged at the boy with sea green eyes and pinned him down with the dagger (where does she get all those daggers?). "You destroyed Circe's island!"

"Reyna calm down! Your leg isn't healed yet!" Will said. At the same time Nico said "Reyna, no! He's our friend!"

"He destroyed our place." Reyna growled. "He freed the pirates. You have no right to stop me unless you have been a prisoner on a pirate ship."

"Reyna, please. Let us explain. He is now you friend, well, at least before you lost your memory." Will said.

"Okay." Reyna said. But she still had the 'I don't trust you' look. She put her dagger back in her pocket and stood up. But as she put weight to her injured leg, she winced and fell back down.

"Reyna, are you okay?" A brunette girl said.

"I'm fine." Reyna said. She succeeded on standing up at her second attempt and sat back on her bed. Nobody saw through her poker face that it hurt a lot when she did so, or at least she thought so.

"Will, did you try the Hypnos cabin?" The brunette asked.

"No. Since her two years were erased by a god, I don't think it would work." Will answered.

"She really can't remember us?" A latino boy said. "She might not remember that I blew up her camp!"

"YOU BLEW UP CAMP JUPITER?" Reyna asked.
