Hi! I forgot how the elevator of the Empire State Building looks like. Does it have windows? How big is it? How bright is it? If you know, please tell me in the comments. (This elevator is not going to appear in chapter 6, though.) Thank you and bye!

*A mortal who was just passing by's pov*

I was listening to music while jogging around a park. It was my morning routine.

I saw two kids about 15 sitting on a bench talking. They looked like they were not a couple, but I was curious, so I pretended I was exhausted, sat on a bench, turned off my music, and started playing games with my phone.

The boy looked gloomy, and the girl was saying the words "grateful", "crucial", and "peace", but I couldn't hear the full sentence. I concentrated harder.

"You did a job that all of us couldn't. Now let's go. The building is right there. What could possibly go wrong?"

"What do we have to deliver again?"

"This box."

"What's in it?"

The girl opened it. There was the biggest diamond that I ever saw.

The boy said "It's a..." then he said a word in another language that I could not understand.

The girl said that it's a gigantic diamond, but the boy shook his head and said something about the mist.

'Mist? The sky is sunny and clear!' I thought. They headed outside.

I was worried about them. 'What if a group of bullies command them to give the diamond?'

Unfortunately, my 'if' came true. The most unpopular gang in our town followed them. The kids didn't seem to notice.

I walked after the kids and the bullies, my phone ready to call the police.

"Hey, kiddos. What do you have in your bag?" The leader of the gang asked.

"Nothing." The kids said and ran away... to a dead end.

"Just hand over the diamond. Then, we will let you go where you were going."

"No. Don't you know that it's bad to steal from people? I think it's against the law." The girl said.

"Oh, you are so young and naive, hoping the police would arrive. The earth doesn't spin the way you think."

After he said that, I did the most reasonable thing to do: call the police while staying out from their sight. Then, I checked the time.
'Oh no!' It was almost time that I promised my boyfriend to meet! I ran back to the park, hoping the kids to be okay.

*Mathew(The gang's boss)'s pov*
(I'm sorry if you have a friend named Mathew. I asked my friend a random name, and she said Mathew)
We were on our way to the club when I saw a girl and a boy with two dogs open a box with a diamond in it. I thought there might be an other gang stealing those stuff like us, so we followed the kids with two dogs to 'ask' about the diamond.

"Hey, kiddos. What do you have in your bag?" I asked.

"Nothing." The kids said and ran away. Luckily, they ended up in a dead end.

"Just hand over the diamond. Then, we will let you go where you were going."

"No. Don't you know that it's bad to steal from people? I think it's against the law." The girl said.

"Oh, you are so young and naive, hoping the police would arrive. The earth doesn't spin the way you think." My sidekick, Dylan said.

Just then, their stupid dogs started attacking us. We did the most reasonable thing to do; we kicked the dogs. Dylan brought two cages, and we trapped them inside.

I turned to the girl. "If you are not giving us the diamond, than we're gonna take it."

"No you're not." She got attacked by one of our newbies. She was good at fighting. She quickly grabbed our newbie's wrist and judo-flipped him.

The boy was as good as her. He quickly made two if us lying on the ground.

"Hey, won't you guys come with us? We can steal plenty of money for everyone to enjoy."

"In your dreams"

Soon, they were the only people standing. They surely kew how to fight. They freed the dogs and started to walk away.

Then, the police arrived.

Sorry for making you wait for so long. I was doing more reading than writing.
