He watched as she giggled and blushed at her boyfriend's stupid jokes. Her head thrown back as she bursted into a fit of laughter.
She had the most beautiful laugh, that instantly caused you to smile. She was beautiful, there was not one single flaw that Ross could find on Laura.
After knowing her for three years, he had known her like an open book and there was nothing he didn't love about her. Well...maybe just one thing bothered Ross about Laura. It was was her over-dramatic rude ass boyfriend. He was no gentlemen, he had no good taste in music, and quite frankly he was just boring. But he was one lucky bastard, because he has the most precious jewel in all the world, he had Laura as his girlfriend.
Something Ross couldn't have, no matter how badly he wanted her.
Laura was in a four month relationship with this dude Andrew, it had started out at the end of summer right before the first episode of season 4 started filming. And boy, was that a bombshell for Ross to take in.
He had just come into realization of these long repressed feelings for Laura, and she comes up him to tell him that she got boyfriend. 'How great'😒
It was truly a heartbreaking day for Ross and it had only gotten worse after that. Ross didn't sleep, barely ate and causally talked to his family members. His best friend had become a nice cold refreshing beer bottle in which he drowned his feelings of sorrow, heartbreak, and sadness. There was an empty hole in his chest, an open fresh wound on his body where his heart should be. Laura had been carved on his heart and when he found out that she had a boyfriend an empty hole formed and dried up his emotions.
Every Friday night he would sit on the second to last stool in the bar table and he would begin to drink his pain away once the clock turned 10:30pm. His body was numb and his mind knew nothing of where it was, it was a god damn shame that the only thing his mind did know, were the memories of Laura. She had imprinted on his mind so deeply, that was like she was tattooed on his skin - visible and never fading away.
But perhaps this Friday could be different, he had only had one full beer when she walked in linking arms with her dreaded weasel boyfriend and noticed Ross sitting by himself at the bar. She invited him to have a couple drinks with her and a few friends. He was hesitant at first but after she begged and pleaded with those big brown chocolate eyes, he knew he couldn't say no.
Plus, he knew Andrew would be quite jealous if Ross joined them, he was no picnic for Andrew either. So Ross knew that would be the perfect way to taunt him. 😏
Sitting next to Laura, admiring her beauty and the excitement in her voice as she talked with others made him fall deeper for her. He knew it was wrong. One being that she had a boyfriend, two they still weren't allow to date, and three, she couldn't possibility have feelings for him - that was something she had made very clear in a lot of interviewes.
He let out a sad sigh quietly so that no one would hear him before he sipped his beer one last time. He wanted to leave by now, he couldn't take watching Andrew sink his lips to Laura's claiming her as his while Ross just watched, not being able to slap the shit out of him for kissing the love of his life.
Also, one of Laura's friends was being a little too persistent in wanting to hit the back room and "talk". No way in hell That's happening. Laura wasn't much help either since she practically dragged Ross to sit next to the girl and made him dance with her.
He had suffered enough for one night, so he stood up and said his goodbyes, leaving a confused Laura behind.
He let the cold misty air hit his warm face as he walked towards his car with his hands in the pockets. His brain hurt from the all thinking he did about Laura and slowly his open wound would begin to burn as well. He was about to get in his car when he heard a pair of heels hitting the pavement quickly and sweet voice calling his name.
