my head hit the wall as i stomped my foot on the ground.

"what's up with you." lilac asked while putting books on the shelves.

"oh nothing, i'm just tired that's all." i admitted and helped her out with the books.

"there's definitely something wrong with you. you normally get a lot of sleep but i can see the dark circles forming under your eyes, and plus you're not cheery like you usually are."

i laughed. "wow, can't believe you noticed that."

she shrugged. "of course."

after a moment of silence i decided to pull the card and ask the question that's been on my mind.

"hey, have you ever tried renting a boyfriend?" i asked and she made a weird face while smiling.

"why would i?" she bursted out laughing.

i went with the flow and laughed as well. "yeaaah, why would you?"
