"yana!" i looked behind me to see lily coming over.

"oh hey what's up?" i asked and she smiled brightly.

"next week i'm leaving this job because i'm finally going to become a social worker." she confidently said which made me smile automatically.

"that's great! i'm so happy for you." i could not contain the happiness i felt for her, "but does that mean.. i'll be alone?" i frowned thinking about the thought.

"of course not, you've been through thick and thin so i know you can get through this." i smiled at her words. her leaving made me sad because i always used to vent out to her but now that she's going to do something she's always wanted to do made me really happy.

we continued to stack the boxes till she asked a question which caught my attention, "oh yeah.. yana?" i hummed in response, "remember that boyfriend rental thing?"

i nodded and told her to continue, "i actually have tried it once.." she admitted and my eyes went wide.

"what?!" i tried not to yell and stared at her in disbelief.

she scratched the back of her head, "i mean well, it was only for a day.. i saw it as an advertisement so i decided to give it a try and when i did, there were too many handsome boys to resist." she giggled.

"ah, so who did you go out for a date with then?" i was putting the last boxes on top of one another.

"shinwon, i think his full name is ko shinwon?" she tried to remember and i almost lost my balance, "he was really romantic especially. like i seriously was about to fall in love with him, also the fact that he could cook! such husband material." i looked at her and her eyes were full with hearts.

my fists clenched together but i calmed myself down, "so what happened with you two?"

"he blocked me, i wish i knew why. if he didn't i'd totally fall for a guy like him but after him doing that, he just seemed shitty to me." she continued opening boxes with the box cutter and organized the items into the proper categories.

i nodded in agreement, "y-yeah! of course someone like him would seem shitty pfft. like why would he block you without a reason anyways? that's just dumb." i stuttered, talking bad about shinwon was hard to do espiecally since that thing happened yesterday.

"it's always the pretty boys who are also play boys." she sighed, and that got me thinking.

is that really true?

i texted him my address and continued on typing the newspaper.

this job was interesting to me, and i found out that i had an interest in writing. not only that but the stories in it are also fun to read, i didn't realize how much i liked to read and write until after i joined the club.

i was already typing up the last sentence for the paper when someone knocked on my door.

i opened it up to see shinwon smiling, it was quite something to see him smile because he usually doesn't show his teeth, but he looked adorable.

i let him in and showed him to my room where i was working on the newspaper.

"what're you writing about?" he asked once he sat on my bed, staring the paper on my desk down.

"just some sports news and daily announcements." i mentioned then finished up the last sentence.

"why did you join the newspaper club anyways?.." he asked, "is it for jangjun?"

my movements halted hearing his name, i didn't like him anymore. thinking about him was way out of my mind.

"well.. at first it was but ever since i figured my feelings out, i decided that you were the one for me." i tried hiding my blush but was obvious.

he let out a soft smile, "you still like him don't you?"

my heart dropped just by hearing that, "you know i can't like him because he has a girlfriend shinwon. don't be silly. plus i was too naive to realize that he was way out of my league."

"you sure?" he asked.

i turned to him to give him my full attnention, "what do i have to do to show it to you?" i had my arms over the back of my chair which was facing shinwon.

"maybe a kiss? or two? or a long one?" he smirked.

lily wasn't joking when she said he was romantic, now i wonder how romantic he's been to lily.

i got up from my seat and pecked his lips quickly but felt my cheeks heat up from that.

"a long oneee?" he whined and i laughed.

"how many girls have you done this to?" i asked and he frowned.

"don't think about the girls i've done this to, think about how much i care for you." he pouted which resulted in me blushing madly.

i looked down to the ground with my heart beating out of my chest, "oh yeah shinwon?" i asked looking up, "what are we?"

he paused and seemed to think about it deeply, "well we did kiss.. we went on multiple dates.. i'd say we're a couple!" he excitedly said.

i pushed up my glasses and sat down on my chair. who knew that i'd be together with my rental?

"a couple.." i repeated his words, "you're my first." i shyly admitted.

"aww when did you get so shy?" he cooed which made me stand up tall.

"i'm not shy you little fire crackle nut job." i stuck out my tongue.

"then if you're not shy you'd do this." he grabbed my waist as he stood up and kissed me down.

if you could see me right now, i'd be a tomato mess. literally, the internal inflammation happening in my cheeks was gonna burn me out alive.

of course, the passionate kiss had to come to an end after thirty seconds, naturally i was sad.

after that happened i looked up at him to see him smiling at me, his hands still resting on my waist.

"lets have 100 more dates which will come with no cost."

i feel like this book is getting more boring lol but the next chapters will be interesting
