For A Day (Ko Shinwon FF)

i froze. my muscles weren't even allowing me to move, and my eyes were focused solely on shinwon's.

woosuk (woosuk is wooshin's new name as he doesn't use wooshin as his stage name anymore!) stopped in his tracks and stared at the scene. he scoffed slightly and chuckled.

"y-you what're you doing-" i gulped hard but he didn't move an inch, he was coming closer and closer till our noses touched.

he smiled, "do you like this?" he asked.

i scoffed and used the last of my strength to push him off, and thankfully it worked. man he seemed quite weak for such a lanky and well built guy.

i looked over to see woosuk's back walking away, and his figure getting smaller and smaller by the second.

"woosuk!" i called out but he didn't turn around.

i turned back to shinwon and bit my lips, "he's ignoring me now! see what you've done!" i argued.

his eyebrows raised in dissatisfaction, "oh so you like him now?" he rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.

man he's so pettyyyyyy

"if you're going to be like that, then don't even call this a date." i stuck my tongue out.

"this isn't even a date, we're just playing pretend!" he argued back and my heart felt a pang go right through it.

"but you sai-" i was able to mutter out.

he cut me off and continued, "it was a lie. you only wanted to go on a date for jangjun right?"

i don't get it.. minutes ago he said we were going on a date.. and now he's being all defensive? is this payback for not paying or?...

"what did i ever do?" my eyebrows crashed and suddenly i was angry.

"you like him." he scoffed once more.

"why do you care?!" i yelled now. i was mad.

he didn't anwser and shoved his hands in his pockets.

"why do you care? if it's just play pretend?" i asked.

"why do i? is that even a question?" he retorted and i got confused.

what was he saying??

"i care because," he took a while to finish his sentence. "we're friends."

my eyes fluttered. he was right, we were.

i nodded and took a step back to recollect myself, "right. i'm sorry." i took in a deep breath.

"i should be going now. thanks for the date." i quietly muttered and walked away as fast as I could.

walking down the path while the cherry blossoms were falling to the ground was, somewhat, heartbreaking.

and for some reason, pain was lurking deep in my heart.

it's been days since i haven't spoken to shinwon. i've been wondering if I should text him first, however i'm a certified coward meaning: i can't text him because i'm afraid to get blocked.

i sighed and put my phone aside on the table as i laid my head down as i listened to music to distract me from the chattering around me.

"yanaaaa!" jangjun ran up to me and shook me, "no time to sleep, it's club timeeee~"
