"thanks for the ride." i smiled at wooseok and he brightly smiled back.

"anything for the greatest yana!" he teased.

i waved at him before going inside my apartment and closing the door slowly behind me.

the events that happened today were.. questionable. no words can explain how i'm feeling and why i'm feeling it.

my phone dinged notifying i had a new notification.

from shinwon? i thought after i gave him the money he'd finally leave me alone and block me but it was surprising seeing a new message from him.

"man!! i got blocked again?" shinwon whined.

wooseok laughed, "sucks to suck. you still owe me that limited edition package." he reminded the elder.

shinwon rolled his eyes and threw his phone on the table while wooseok walked over to the fridge to find a snack.

kino entered the living room and noticed the change in atmosphere, "is someone pissed? what's going on?" he asked as he opened a bottle of gatorade.

"some girl blocked him again, it's the first time he's acting like this." wooseok closed the fridge doors and walked to his room.

kino plopped himself onto the couch and looked sadly at his friend, "did you like her?"

shinwon didn't hesitate to say "no."

kino scoffed, "then why would you be mad over her blocking you? you always block girls anyways so there's no point in being mad."

"yeah but-"

"did she give you your money?" kino asked and took a sip of his drink.

"yeah she did, but i just don't feel complete yet. like i never even got to say goodbye." he pouted.

kino sighed and looked at a wall, "well that's girls for you. some act tough, some act soft. you just hit a stone wall buddy. she seems like a tough one." after a few moments of silence, kino suddenly got curious "what's her name anyways?"

"yana. shin yana."

i sat down, slouching as i watched people pass by.

"yaaaanaaaaa!" jangjun ran towards me and stopped in front of me.

"you made it!" he smiled.

as i looked around the room, it was pretty.. crowded.

the room was espiecally small and there was only one table to work on. the room definitely needed some renovation, maybe we should call extreme makeover's ty pennington to a makeover of this place.

"this is it!" jangjun excitingly said.

"wow." i was able to voice out. this was horrific, the wallpapers were scraping down, the ceiling tiles were about to fall on us. no wonder no one joined the club.

he sighed and put his hands on his hips, "not gonna lie, this needs some re-decorating."

suddenly some girl came passed by us and bowed to us, "hello! my name is yoo jangjoo, let me repeat that. yoooooo jangjoooo." she said it longer the second time as if we butchered her name.

jangjun smiled and then looked at me, "oh yeah yana, this is the head of the newspaper club. she's graduating soon so she expects us to take over."

"us? but we just joined?"

jangjun laughed it off, "well.. yeah.. we're the last members before she graduates this year."

i gasped, what??

"uh.." i was at loss for words and pushed my glasses up.

"it's fine! i know you guys have the potential to atleast lead the club for our future members."

ppfffftt as if there'll be any new members.

"anyways, the sign up sheets are right there on the table. feel free to sign up because you guys are already in!" she clapped her hands together and i slowly nodded watching her being happy when there's literally nothing to be happy about.

jangjun and i signed the papers and she took the paper. "this will definitely be on the newspaper! two new freshman members, waiting to take over the newspaper club, to dominate world history.. i can't wait for that! looking forward!"

this girl literally speaks with exclamation marks and it shows.

"oh yeah yana, i know we promised to go have bubble tea after classes but i can't.. i'm going somewhere with joosun." he frowned.

i blinked countless times.

what the heck? we both made plans only a day ago and something suddenly comes up to ruin it?

"yeah of course. it's fine." i gave him a thumbs up and he waved.

"thank you!! i can always count on you."

i turned around to my surprise.

kino was standing while staring at me, my heart beat fast.

not cause i still liked him, but because of the memories that flashed back.
