"i guess there's no point in exposing him." i ate the last of my cake and stared out the window, looking at all the passerbyers and birds flying in the air.

"why not?" lily asked, "also don't worry about me paying. after all you did get into a serious accident so i should be the one treating you." she snapped.

i snickered, "i am paying. i am paying. i am paying." i repeated many times to annoy her, and seeing her scrunch up her face made me feel satisfied, "but it's mostly cause years passed already. i forgive him for that because if it weren't for him, then i wouldn't have learned to love myself. plus i'm pretty sure he's matured from all that. oh yeah,"

"and it's final." i smacked down the bills on the table and sipped the last of my iced tea.

lily grumbled, "fine, but i'm paying next time." she twirled a strand of her hair, "and i get what you mean. you're such a kind girl yana, forgiving someone for blackmailing you, especially since he was your old friend!" the bell rung as we were both talking and didn't pay attention to who entered.

"there's this guy i'm seeing.." she was about to continue but her eyes widened when she looked at the person behind me.

"is this the shinwon you were talking about?" she whispered at me and i looked back just by hearing his name. it was definitely him, the only difference was that he was wearing a mask. i looked at her and nodded.

"so you're telling me that he," she pointed lowkey at him, "dated you for a day?"

shinwon huffed out hearing this, "sorry to budge in but don't you know who i am?" he asked in a overly-confident voice.

"you? aren't you shinwon from pentagon?" lily titled her head.

shinwon nodded and dragged his mask a bit down to the point you could see his mouth, "yes and, yes i did date her for a day."

lily widened her eyes seeing his face. she scooched over closer to me, "THAT'S THE DUDE WHO I RENTED YEARS AGO!" she yelled silently. i nodded.

"i know i know." giggling because of her reaction.

lily composed herself and cleared her throat, "a day. not even 24 hours right?" lily asked once more. the people around them listened into the conversation as it got really quiet in the room.

i shrugged and nonchalantly nodded, "it was more like 5 hours. or no not even, maybe 4 hours? i'm not too sure."

"so you only lasted a few hours.." lily calmly took it all in before everything wanted to explode in her.

"i mean well it happened years ago so lily-" i was about to continue when nothing but lily's rambles cut me off and the whole cafe was now staring at us with confusion plastered on their faces.

shinwon pulled up his mask again and shoved his hands in his jacket pockets, looking quite unbothered.

"why aren't you reacting?" lily asked and panted.

"because i deserve all that. i shouldn't have treated yana like the way i did when i knew what to expect." he admitted, but this only made lily even angrier.

"so you did know.." lily stood up but i sat her back down and patted her back, "let me go yana, this little idiot knew!"

i shook my head, pleading for her not to continue what she was about to do because knowing her, she's determined to do whatever until she gets the job finished, "idiot" she muttered and sat back down in her seat.

shinwon didn't even brace for impact, all he did was look down and closed his eyes.

"let's go.." i pulled her with me after a few moments, because i knew i couldn't talk with them in this environment. i gave shinwon sorry eyes before leaving him standing in front of the blue window.

"thanks for coming along guys, i really appreciate it." i told jangjun and joosun whom were holding flowers and a gift box.

jangjun shook his head, "if it weren't for you then i wouldn't be able to get a close look on kino! this is his discharge date right?" he asked, anxious just to meet his idols. i nodded in response.

"calm down hun, you'll probably start peeing your pants again once you see them." joosun rolled her eyes.

jangjun stuck his tongue out, "at least my pee is cle-" jangjun stooped when he looked at the man in front of him, walking towards them in a slow manner because of the crouches.

"kino.." i mumbled once i saw his figure coming towards mine. he was using crutches but his smile was brighter than ever. even though he came from where the sun was facing, his smile was the most noticeable from the light.

i rushed over in an instant and examined his injuries, "i am so sorry." i frowned.

"don't worry." he smiled.

i shook my head, how could i not worry about this?

"you're the main dancer after all, and now you can't move that much because of me. i'm dearly sorry." i was about to get on my knees for him to accept my apology but was stopped when i felt his hand in my shoulder.

"i'm still moving." he let out a soft smile which melted me instantly.

jangjun and joosun stood by my side and smiled awkwardly at the scene, "uh y-yana wanted to give this to you." he almost shoved the flowers towards him but kino wasn't able to catch it seeing that both of his hands were already occupied.

"idiot." joosun scolded.

i looked behind him and saw the rest of the pentagon members coming out of the hospital, i quickly gave him the card and stuffed bear i bought earlier as a warming gift and joosun handed the gift box to one of the members while greeting them.

since all of them seem tall, jinho being an exception (but he's definitely still taller than me), it was intimidating. especially since it's been years since i've seen them all together.

"hhhhh i gotta zoom soon, i really hope your recovery goes well though." i turned around but halted as soon as i heard my name.

"hey it's her! it's yana!" i hear. everything seemed so awkward until some fellow strangers recognized the group and asked for a few photos.

"yana?" a familiar voice asked, and that voice seemed to belong to shinwon.

the fans began to gossip and in no time, photos have been spread on the internet about the two being close.

after turning around, seeing the girls on their phones made me hesitate to even take a step towards shinwon, but i didn't have to since he moved towards me.

jangjun hissed at them though they also seemed to recognize him too. the girls started to speculate him and joosun and everything just seemed messy at this point.

he smiled at me, "let's go on a date later today."

i looked around, still aware of what's happening but shinwon didnt seem phased at all.

i nodded at him, now forgetting about the stares that were burning both of us down, "i'll let you prove yourself again." i trailed off,

"for a day"
