"say, yana." wooshin suddenly said and i looked up.

"what's up?" i took another scoop of my ice cream and was about to put it in my mouth.

"is shinwon really your date?"

i slowly put down the scoop of ice cream back into its cup and i nodded slowly, but then shook my head slowly too.

wooshin lightly laughed, "what?"

"i-uh. he is my date.. well only for that party. everyone had dates so i invited him." i smiled. woah, my excuses were getting better.

wooshin nodded, "ah i see but there's nothing romantic going on with you two?"

my face was heating up and i ate the ice cream quicker so i can cool down, "no! nothing at all. we're just friends that's all." i gulped.

"ah. friends.." he smiled and kept chopping the ice cream up, making it turn liquid.

i bit my lips hard as i looked at his actions. that was hurting me inside.

"yes friends. hmm why do you ask?" i took another bite of my ice cream.

wooshin shrugged, "i don't know. at the party he was partying with other girls, you know. he just doesn't seem loyal at all."

i looked down at the table and took that in, "you're right. he doesn't seem loyal at all."

wooshin's eyebrows furrowed, "oh no i didn't mean it that way-"

"but you're right." i slammed the table with my fist and everyone at the ice cream shop looked at me with pure shock written on their faces.

ooh just a lot. like part time job and newspaper club.. all that.

jangjun ran towards yana and smiled brightly, "yana! joosun and i are going to watch a movie on saturday. we thought that having a double date would be fun so, want to join us?"

i nodded almost immediately, "of course! i mean- uhh i'll think about it hehe."

"okay please let us know asap!" he ran to where he came from and i texted shinwon at the speed of lightning, forgetting about all that loyalty nonsense.

shinwon laughed lightly at first, then louder as the seconds pass.

"be quiet you idiot!" jinho yelled from his room.

but don't say anything weird, jangjun and joosun will be there.

shinwon's fists tightened as he read the name 'jangjun'.

shinwon sighed out loud and was punching the air in his mind.

"what day is it?" i asked lily and she sighed.

"it's only thursday."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN ITS ONLY THURSDAY???" i shrieked.

lily closed her eyes for a few seconds and looked at yana with tired eyes, "yana, it's been the third time you asked what day it is. knock it off a bit and just focus on stocking these barbie dolls."

"sorry lily.. i know i've been asking too many questions. how are you though?" i asked to change the topic.

lily shrugged, "i'm doing fine. same old same old, get up, make breakfast, go to school then go here."

i nodded in understanding, "you're graduating university this year right?"

"i am." she stocked the last barbie dolls from the box before moving onto another box.

"hmm.. do you have any newspaper clubs in your school?"

she put her hands at the back of her waist as she took a deep breath, "yeah we do," she paused and continued stocking, "the club was really busy, and everyone on campus would read the news but nowadays people don't read which sucks. the news was actually interesting."

my lips moved to the side of my face, "then what else?"

"everyone eventually stopped reading. and not only that, when you're in the newspaper club you're also responsible for taking photos. basically like dispatch or something, just reporting on the news around campus." she clicked her tongue before continuing again,

"one day news got out of a scandal in the campus, and it didn't end well for her. she got bashed a lot and had to drop out. sad cause this was her dream school too."

"what happened?" curiousity took over me.

"she was caught up in some scandal with dating this popular idol, but all that was not true. it was too late to confirm it, she was already gone from the school and now no one has heard from her. lost all her friends from that one scandal, and the idol was also kicked out from his group for dating. such a dumb situation." she paused and continued, "it was said that she might've comm- comm" she stuttered.

"please don't say it if you're not comfortable with it." i smiled softly at her and patted her back.

after we were done stocking, i volunteered to bring back the boxes. i blinked countless times thinking about what lily had just told me.

i reached home and took my shoes off as i went to wash up. today's been a long day especially since midterms were taking place very soon.

as i was getting ready for bed, i looked at my bedside table and stared at the picture of my older brother who was smiling brightly.

his chin high and his right hand on his forehead in a salut.

i will fight to graduate from your school, yunho.
