"will i meet this crush of yours at the party?" shinwon asks as i licked my ice cream.

"most probably."

"wait but," he paused and stepped back. "you can't be looking like this at the party." he tilted his head with and raised an eyebrow.

"what do you mean? i spent hours picking what to wear, espiecally for this date, and you're saying i can't be looking like this?!"

"you look too cute to be going to a party. you need to look more intimidating, sexy, cool!"

i tapped my foot and licked my ice cream again. although he was being honest, i couldn't help but to feel somewhat insecure about my self image. however i didn't want to feel that way because i'd end up isolating myself from everyone at the party.

"so what do you want me to do? go back home and change?"

"actually," he smiled and took the last bite of his cone. "i know a place."

"seriously shinwon? we have two hours left and all you wanted to do was match."

"it's a date! couples should be matching. plus we would look so cool when we arrive at the party like this." he fixed his hair and tried different poses while looking at the mirror.

my deadpan expression was now clearly plastered on my face, "blah blah, nah i don't think so. i'd rather not match, shinwon."

he pouted and stomped his foot. "well you're no fun."

i sighed heavily and looked him in the eyes. "you know what, fine. i'll match with you. but only under one condition."

his face started to brighten as he was anticipating what i was about to say.

"you pay for the clothes."

>>>>><<<<<

"that literally cost how much i'm gonna get from you."

"well, you're earning money back." i smiled and skipped to a nearby bench.

"hey, but we should put these on. after all we had a deal."

i bit my bottom lip then agreed to do it.

we found a restroom and changed in there, the outfit was cute and all but it seemed a bit too showy for my taste.

it was a sleeveless black dress with a golden chain going around the waist while shinwon had the same colours (all black) and he had his gold chain hanging from his pants.

shinwon finished first and once i met him outside, he smiled upon seeing me.

i looked up at him and tapped my shoe.

"you look pretty with your running shoes and dress."

i didn't know how to accept the compliment so i just nodded and was able to make out a small thank you.

"we have forty five more minutes.. we can use this time i guess." i informed him and he nodded.

"it's getting dark, stay close." he pulled me closer and i gulped at the sudden contact.

i pulled away after feeling a sense of awkwardness, and he seemed to notice.

"anything wrong?" he asks and i shook my head quickly.

"nope, it's just that uh.." my brain was all over the place i couldn't even think of an excuse. shinwon. the handsome shinwon held me close.

"uhh?" he mocked waiting for my anwser.

"i just forgot something in my bag." i laughed and played it off by looking inside my bag, scavenging for nothing in particular.

"let's sit down then." he dragged me to a bench which was facing the Han River.

it was a local spot for families, friends and couples to hang out at. everyone was enjoying themselves though i felt a sense of uneasiness by wearing this dress; causing me to cover it up by pretending i'm cold.

"hey, are you cold?" he asks and i nodded.

"oh yeah very cold.. haha yeh oh no! super cold"

he didn't hesitate to pull me in his warmth and i just felt even hotter.

"better?" i heard his heart pounding, hearing that it was a normal pace. if he heard my heart pound damn he'd be scared at how fast it was going.

i nodded, scared to even pull back.

after a few moments like this, we were comfortable and i was happy to say that.

i straightened my position while he had his arm around me still and i checked the time.

"we should get going now."

he agreed and stood up.

"we should take a photo first. the sunset looks really pretty." he grabbed his phone and settled it on us. i got scared looking at my face but was able to fix a pose.

and there we have it, our first photo together. the photo was neat and thankfully i didn't look bad. it could've been better though if the old man in the back wasn't about to munch down on his burger but it's fine.

we arrived at the place by taxi and there was already a lot of people going in the house. i gulped just by seeing the scene of some people smoking and even walking wobbly around.

then i noticed no one was wearing glasses, and everyone had makeup on except for me.

i looked back at the road and got my handy dandy backup makeup things, doing the best makeup i could.

lipstick and mascara was the only things i could do.

i also took off my glasses and shinwon noticed.

"whyre you taking off your glasses?"

"because no one else has it on?" i stuffed it in my bag but he caught my hand.

"so just cause other people aren't wearing glasses doesn't mean you can't."

i stayed frozen for a while just by thinking about that, should i wear glasses?

my thoughts were scattered away when jangjun came over.

"heyy! yana.." he noticed how i looked. "woah you look a lot prettier without glasses."

i nodded and stuffed my glasses quickly into my bag. "oh really? thanks!" i smiled and we had a small conversation while shinwon was listening very closely.

this was gonna be a hell of a night.
