They say butterflies fade,
but i have something different to say!
my butterflies still haven't faded,
our love shines bright, it isn't shaded.
Just at the mere thought of you:
My butterflies' wings flutter rapidly,
my heart ferociously beats,
my mind is tangled entirely.
my knees get weak and give in.
Just at the mere sight of you:
The butterflies faint from delight,
my heart jumps out of my chest,
my thoughts are a hazy mess.
my legs are numb, they have no might.
Just being touched by you:
The scales get tipped completely.
the butterflies explode from my tummy.
my mind is filled with only you.
my body is jelly – do you have a clue
how much restraint it takes to let you go at night?
you are my more, my love and my life.
my butterflies persists and they only become more.
every time I'm with you, i love you more than before.
only you cause my butterflies to flutter.
