"Grace," Seonghwa calls out my name. His voice is soothing, almost like a lullaby. For a moment I mistook it for a dream.
I open my eyes and he's hovering me, phone and wallet in one hand. His hair is wet and slicked back. The top of his pajama shirt is halfway unbuttoned and his defined pecs peep through. I fight the urge to stick my face in his shirt and lick him down.
What a sight.
"Wake up, we're home."
"Are you really going to go find Yunho yourself?" I quickly sit upright. "But we just got back and you're already leaving."
He only nods. "I can't rely on anyone but myself when it comes to such matters."
"Wait, let me go with you," I tug on his sleeves hoping to latch on and prevent him from leaving. A part of me hoped that he'd let me accompany him but the better part of me wanted just wanted him to stay home. We were both already beyond worn out from last night and now he's up and on the move again. "I can help."
Seonghwa grins, completely amused with my offer. "And do what? Play soccer with the assailant's head?"
I was hoping he wouldn't notice I did that.
I shrug my shoulders.
Honestly, I really wouldn't be of much help. There's nothing I could possibly do to help find Yunho so I'd just be an unnecessary burden. I knew that. I also knew that my fighting skills weren't exactly up to par either. You can thank the twins for playing around too much.
"I don't want you to go by yourself, what if something happens to you? How would I last alone?" I try convincing him. Surely all his enemies would be after me thinking I knew all of his secrets— not even my father could get me out of that mess.
"You're not alone, you have the twins," he says as if that's supposed to make me feel any better, if anything, it did the complete opposite.
The twins: high school boys who don't even have their licenses yet.
And Wooyoung who struggles holding his lacrosse stick.
"Yes and even you're worried for their own safety so I don't think they'll be of much help to me. Just let me go— I'll be your emotional support," I grin, jumping up and down at the thought of not being left alone. "It'll be fun," I wink at the thought of finishing what we started.
I left the rest of my convincing up to my irresistible charms.
Seonghwa looks as though he's contemplating it but eventually reverts back to his stern expression. "No," he pries my hands off of him and starts toward the door. "Stay home and go to school."
Fuck.
"School is in four days," I remind him.
"Don't you have homework?"
"No," I lied.
I paid someone to do it for me, obviously.
"Then," Seonghwa pauses. It clear that he was thinking of things for me to do. "Go shopping," he insists.
"Then give me your card," I joke.
Seonghwa opens up his wallet, eyes skimming before pulling one out. I manage to catch a peek and notice a wide array of options, all of them which probably had unlimited funds. It was probably the most beautiful sight I've seen yet— aside from him naked. Seonghwa hands me one of his many black cards and walks off, leaving me there dumbfounded.
