Vogue. Cosmopolitan. Harper's Bazaar.I had well over five photoshoots this morning. It had been a week since Seonghwa's baby mama had moved in with us, or the twins, to be specific. To their delight, she spent the majority of her time in the main house making herself the biggest nuisance in all of my existence. With Seonghwa coming in and out, busy with tracking down Yunho's whereabouts— that left for more awkward moments without him around.
She spends most of her day online shopping, spending Seonghwa's money at her leisure. Everyday there's a fucking stack of packages waiting at the front door and no one even bats an eye— but when I decide to have my photoshoots on-the-go at the house, suddenly it's breaking security protocol. I'm honestly just waiting for the day someone slips in a bomb to our home.
That would be the day.
"Look," I pick up yet another package and show it to San. "Another one."
"That's crazy, hyung doesn't even let me order pizza!" He pouts. San then takes the box and impulsively rips it open, the box tearing into pieces as fabrics fall to the floor. Uninterested, he steps over them and walks off.
Seriously...?
What was the point of that?
Out of guilt, I decide to pick the pieces of the box back up. Maybe if I tape this it'll look like an accident— blame it on the delivery man.
"Oh my god!" Rain shrieks as she approaches. Her eyes widened at the scenario it seemed to be: me ruining her package out of whatever intentions she thought I may have harbored.
I open my mouth to explain that it wasn't I who did it, but San. San who was already too far out of sight for it to be believable. You'd probably have to be real fucking naive to believe anything that comes out of the mouth of your baby daddy's future wifey. In addition to that, I also hadn't made myself seem any more welcoming than the others.
Seonghwa walks into the foyer, full attention on fixing his sleeves and completely oblivious as to what he was about to walk in on. "Grace, I was thinking-" he pauses as he comes to take everything in.
Fuck, why am I still holding this?!
I toss the box aside. "I'm gonna go take a shower," I decide to avoid the confrontation altogether.
Running away from my problems seemed to be my most favorite coping mechanism nowadays. At least where Jungkook wasn't able to literally chase me down.
I could hear footsteps matching up to mine, then a shut of the door moments after I've entered the room. Seonghwa follows me inside as I start my bath. He doesn't speak, only watches as I strip all the way down. The atmosphere was tense enough for me to tell what was about to happen.
"I feel like there's something you're not telling me about," he leans against the counter with his arms crossed. Seonghwa knew better than anyone what goes through other people's heads— mind games were his forte. The only reason why he's acting so coy is to draw me out.
Well that's not happening.
"Everything's fine," I enter the shower and made it steaming hot so that he couldn't see my facial expressions.
The last thing I wanted was for him to catch me off guard and remind me of why my acting career died.
Seonghwa walks up to the door but doesn't enter, instead he leans against the glass with his back facing me. "Let's go on a date. We haven't been on one in a while."
