Shower.

Dinner.

Sleep.

Or at least I attempted to.

Seonghwa sat behind me in the tub, mostly focused on swirling his fingers around the bubbles. I was too deep in thought to pay him any attention. That, and it was too early in the morning to mess around given my current condition.

Jungkook notified me of his arrival only this morning, informing me that he'll be coming to the house later this afternoon. In all honesty, I could care less for his little warm welcoming dinner but Seonghwa insisted that I make an effort. I'll probably be spending the most of my morning watching the girls throw it down in the kitchen.

"I wonder what he'll think about all of this," Seonghwa raises my arm.

The foam glides from the tips of my fingers all the way down to my shoulder.

"He's gonna think you beat me," I laugh at the thought. Though the idea of that happening doesn't sound too far fetched— I didn't know what to expect either before coming here. Surely Jungkook would probably have the same thought if he saw me now, any rational person would think that way.

Nevertheless, I don't think he'd care much anyways. My brothers never were the sympathetic types to begin with.

I rest myself against Seonghwa, leaning my head toward the side of his chest, allowing myself to see his face.

So handsome.

"I feel like every time I go to the bathroom I should bring a gun with me," I ponder the thought. Luckily Seonghwa was with me the first time I got attacked, otherwise I'd probably be drowning in my own blood. Or worse— kidnapped and held captive, probably for ransom.

Imagine trying to extort my father.

He probably wouldn't even pay.

Seonghwa laces his fingers through mine, raising both our hands as he examines my engagement ring. The massive brick diamond I never take off. I honestly forget it's there for the most part. "The twins helped me pick this out."

I wanted to laugh at the mere thought of those two doing so.

"What?" I ask unbelievably.

He chuckles. "Yeah. San chose a ring even bigger than this one, he said it went with your personality. But Wooyoung, his choice was the complete opposite— he chose a ring with the thinnest band," Seonghwa pinches his fingers together. "And the diamond was this small."

"Why'd he choose that one?"

"In my personal belief, Wooyoung's more sentimental than most. He has simplistic desires yet feels everything so very deeply," Seonghwa randomly plants a kiss on my shoulder. "I don't know the reasoning, but I'm sure it's something sweet."

Tch, Wooyoung.

"So then why'd I get this one?" I grin, looking directly at him.

The ring was pretty no matter who chose it. It wasn't my dream ring, but it was gorgeous. But then again, nothing I ever dreamed of was ever really meant for me to begin with. My dreams of being an actress failed miserably after my scandal and the chances of me ever having my own reality show was slim.

For me, my dreams stay dreams.

I've learned to become content with that.

Seonghwa smiles but he isn't looking at me. His eyes are fixated on the bubbles before us. If I hadn't known him I'd probably think he was blushing. "Because I chose it," he finally looks at me.
