Chapter Three

Y/n's POV.

Ozpin steps onto the stage and gives them a welcoming speech which is really short and rather blunt. He states that all he sees in these students is wasted energy in need of purpose and knowledge will free them from. However, it is up to them to make the first step.

After the speech, Glynda instructs the students to gather in the ballroom and prepare for tomorrow's initiation. Time passes really fast and the broken moon rises from the dark night sky. Reminding me of the day when brother destroy the half of it due to humankind's immeasurable ignorance.

"Looking to the moon again?". I heard Glynda spoke right behind me.

"That's the only thing that proofs my existence here so..yeah. *chuckles* Anyway, did Oz finished applying his "relics" to the Emerald Forest?". I ask while still looking to the pale moon.

"Yes, it will be ready for tomorrow's initiation.". She simply replied and stood beside me.

"Wonderful.". I said and stretched my arms. "Looks like I'm going to be the great obstacle tomorrow.".

"Your only mission is to test the students's abilities to the fullest. Interaction and assisting are strictly prohibited.". She said.

"Yeah, yeah. I know and I won't interfere.". I said and laugh. "You should get some rest Glynda, you and Oz will have tons of work tomorrow so you need to prepare yourself.".

She sighs and fixed her glasses". How about you Y/n?.".

"I feel to sentimental right now so I'll be hanging here for a while. I shall rest afterwards, my vessel needs rest too unlike me.". I said and smile at her.

"Very well, see you at the initiation.". Glynda said and gently bow to my side before leaving the premises.

And then once again, I'm alone in the balcony. Enjoying the cold breeze and silently glancing the beautiful view up from here. I've done this proctoring event many times as I could remember but for some reason..I feel so excited about it. Is it because of those freshmen students that I've just recently met? Or perhaps the hidden potential I saw through them? I sigh and scratch my head and shrug before teleporting to my secret room base here in Beacon and take a good night sleep. I bet tomorrow's going to be fun to watch.

EARLY TIMESKIP

I silently teleport to the locker room to fetch my weapons like the regular students here. It seems like these children were excited for their initiation test huh? Well..it's good to be prepared in all cost.

While putting my Chaos Rhyme on my right hand, I heard someone yells. If I am not mistaken, that's..

"What the–?! I don't need to 'break out of my shell'! That's absolutely –..".

"Ridiculous!.". I heard Jaune's voice too.

Hmm..looks like Ruby and Jaune has the same lively energy for today. *giggles*

As soon as I finished tuning and putting my weapons in my hand and back, I accidentally use my right arm where my Chaos Rhyme is and slams my own locker and caught the unwanted attention where I stand still.

"*Gasp* Y/N!". Ruby shouts and use her semblance to get in my position and gave a fast bullet hug that almost made me stumble a bit. "I'm so happy to see you again! Why did you leave us yesterday?.". She said and pout like a small child.
