Unreminiscent Fate [RWBY x Fem!Reader]

Prologue

We are in between the realms, where me and my Elder Brother stood still and looking down to the mortal whom I presume to be that woman's beloved one who she eagerly demanding to be resurrect. I was silently standing beside my Elder brother, not wanting to speak nor interfere again because of my recent actions that almost lead the world and set their vast creations in a Armageddon.

I know I apologize so many times as possible to them and they said that they've sincerely forgive me since that day but..they were still leaving this world without me which it's hurting my whole astral being..a lot. Maybe..this is my punishment for interfering their battle against that woman. *Sigh*

"Ein?". I quickly look up when I heard my elder brother spoke my name. "Don't think this is your punishment and don't think that me and your brother hated you for your recent actions either. You only did what was your true role and nothing else.". He reads my mind and reassures me which it didn't obviously work to console me.

"If this isn't a punishment then why are you and brother still leaving Remnant? Me? Am I not important to you and to brother anymore? Am I also a failure that should be left behind too?.". I said and look down to the astral floor where the mortal was lying on.

He looked at me melancholically before he kneels down in front of me and held both of my hands. "We've chosen to depart this world because we need to rethink our ways on how to remake our faults and with our absences, humanity will surely be a fraction of what they once were. That's why one of us needs to stay and As the Goddess who holds the strongest powers than ours, you have the power to rebalance the good and evil equally and help them change.".
