Chapter Five

Y/n's POV.

After that mild-challenging initiation, i'm glad that everyone passed with flying colors. It may not seem to notice but, I eventually went too excited and almost kill one of them. Oz..especially Glynda didn't like that and gave a one cringy wisecrack to me at the end of that day.

*Sigh*

Anyway, since that forming team event is over, the next stage is..honing their knowledge. Like normal combat schools, they still have to attend classes to increase their intelligence and abilities for them to be ready not just in battles..but also in their daily lives as new Huntsmen and Huntresses of Vale.

And, speaking of Classes, I'd never thought that I would be wearing this uniform again. Looks like I am going to be a student again huh? *Smile*

"Smiling alone in front of the mirror is a strange disturbing behavior, won't you agree Ein?.". I moved my eyes to the corner of the mirror to see Glynda's reflection. She's leaning onto the door frame with her arms crossed on her chest.

"Quite so..". I said and turn around to see her. "How do I look? Good or Better?".

"Like the same as always". She said in a monotone voice.

"Sheesh, You're no fun Glynda." I laugh slightly as i put my black gloves to hide these two small light yellow and purple diamond jewels that have been implanted in my hands since the day I walk in Remnant's surface.

After applying some finishing touches on my uniform, I took my notebook with an e/c pen on it and head to the campus with Glynda behind. While walking towards the beautiful campus, we encountered Oz walking alone and taking his nice morning stroll with a mug of coffee on his hand.

"Seeing you in that clothing reminds me of the good old bygone days.". Oz commented and took a quick sip on his mug.

"Yeah.". I said and noticed that Ruby and Jaune's team were running to the campus in haste. I quickly hide behind Oz so they won't see me hanging around with the Headmaster and a Professor in Beacon.

Glynda raised her arm and look at her wristwatch. "Only 5 minutes remaining before your class starts. We need to get going.". She said, not looking behind Oz.

"I can go there by myself. Why don't you stay in here and accompany Oz instead.". I said while still hiding behind Oz.

"But–...".

"It's alright. Go on Y/n."  Oz intervened.

I heard Glynda sigh before she agrees and that action made Oz to smile. Since walking will surely take some time, I just easily teleport in outside of Professor Peter Port's class. Professor Port greets me and i greet him back while taking my old spot seat and silently wait  for those kids to arrive.

It didn't take too long as i saw Ruby and Jaune's teammates at the door frame, catching their own breaths from that long run they've done. I was silently watching them until Jaune suddenly speaks my name, alerting Ruby and Weiss immediately and set their eyes inside of the classroom.

They quickly fixed their postures and going to greet me but Professor Port meddles in and told that his class is starting. I simply wave my hand to greet them, the two replied with the same gesture together and glare to each other before taking their own seats with the rest of their teams.

Uh..Why do I feel that there's going to be a bloody tug of war again sooner or later.. *Sigh*
