The door groaned again as a zombie pushed against it, Emma's blood pooled around her head as Caitlin leaned over her, trying to stop the bleeding, I'll kill this Devon person if Emma dies, I thought darkly. Finally the zombies retreated and we exited, I took Sam, jai, and Wilson upstairs with me, I would have loved to take Caitlin and felicity too but Caitlin was busy treating Emma and felicity was really dehydrated, I really need to check how much water she was drinking. We ran easily up the two remaining flights of stairs to the roof, it was probably a four storey office building I realised as we peered over the edge, "Careful not to fall," a strange voice mocked behind us, I turned to see a girl probably a few years older than me (well if Reena's thirteen then the stranger is about fifteen), wearing high heels, a denim miniskirt, hot pink mid-drift and her face caked with dry make-up, how did she survive three months, I wondered bitterly.
"It's called a face, not a colouring book." I retorted, referencing her make-up,
"I look better than you!" She sneered,
"That's disputable," I replied coolly, she was plainly furious and I smirked at her short temper, so like mine, but I can control it, that's the difference. "Kill them!" She roared in frustration and about five men walked from the other door that lead from the roof, they held guns and aimed them at us, I pulled my own gun from its holder and shot the closest one dead, the others did the same until two remained, oh and the girl. "Do you know who I am?!" She demanded,
"I am the hottest, prettiest, 'popularest'-" she began
"Stupidest, sluttiest little princess at your school, good for you." I cut her off and shot her too, jai and Wilson took care of her gunmen. "If there are any other people, come out now." Three girls and a boy about my age rose from behind some crates, "well hello, nice of you to show up." I greeted coldly.
