Broken hearts

/This is an original oneshot by yours truly~ I can't this one- it's just too cute and sad. sorry. and also it's an AU inspired by the comic dub: 'The heartsmith'/

Summary:
                  Peter fixes all the insecurities
                  of the Avengers and they all
                  love him equally, the
                  Avengers aren't always
                 perfect. Peter was known as a
                 heartsmith, meaning he can
                 tend to broken hearts and fix
                 their insecurities as well to
                 make them whole.

Peter was tending to his last customer that day, he fixed the broken shards of his customer's glass heart and handed it back delicately. "Here you go sir!" the boy wore a smile as he wished the male well before getting up, a letter fluttered on the boy's desk however.

He opened the envelope with care before reading the note inside:

Dear Peter Parker,

We have a request for you and hearing your nicest praise from the other people in the town, you will be of great help. A fossil will meet you outside your shop and lead you there, if you have time?

- Avengers.

The boy smiled at that and got up, walking outside peeking out the door in interest to meet a male standing by the window. He had blonde hair and striking blue eyes, looking up at down at the man...

Holy shi---- /Language!/

That's Captain America. I repeat.

The boy hid his fanboying behind a calm, happy and polite impression. "Oh so you're the fossil they are talking about?" Peter walked to the male who gave a curt smile in return.

"And you are the one who'll help the team?"

"Peter Parker, nice to meet you..." He gave a small smile at the Captain, also reaching his hand out to the older male, who shook it firmly. "Steve Rogers."
"Nice to meet you Mr Steve Rogers sir." Peter was just 15 but seeing the boy or how he works, you would be shocked.

The blonde chuckled and led the boy into the car while he got driven to the tower, the two talked a bit and Steve felt a small piece of his fragmented heart mend itself.

It took time to get to the tower, but it seemed quick for both of them as they talked. You would think that Peter fixes people's hearts and insecurities by actually mending the heart back together, but he himself is a heart that can fix others. His prescence is just like that.

They entered together while Peter observed the tower, it was amazing... he always wanted to go there and actually intern there.

This was close enough.

When they were going up the different levels he noticed one of the workers struggling on something so he decided to help. "Excuse me? do you need help?" they gave a small smile and appreciation before solving the problem for them, giving them the simple method for it before returning to Steve. Peter glanced at the worker as that heart started to mend together.

Peter has a special sight, he can see people's hearts. They are beautiful and red, but when they are broken they are grey. If they fracture it is visible, so Peter helps out those who need it... and if their heart mends together? his job is done.

Steve gave a smile to the boy as they went up to the elevator, he looked at Steve's heart, it was starting to mend as he could see that a few fragments of red had returned to the vessel.
