Summary:
Dreams of helping people,
always strong on the outside,
saves the world, being looked
up to.... that was all ideal, but
that was a front.
...

What do people vision Super-heroes as?

They vision them as: protect the people when they need help, always strong, saving the world from villains, being looked up to and respectful.

That was ideal...

everyone viewed heroes like that, however behind that mask was something different entirely:

Either broken or filled with malice, or a traitor. However there was one hero... a vigilante by the name Spider-Man.

Spider-Man was a good kid, behind the mask he was actually a teenager: bubbly, kind, smart, selfless, sacrificing and puts his life on the line every-day.

His name was Peter Parker.

He was like this, everyone that knew him behind the mask knew that he was a good person, innocent... however that was before everything had happened, before the innocent self-less boy had been...

Corrupted.

How? how could someone that lights up everyone's lives like a lit up candle... blow out just like that? the light disappearing into a stream of smoke.

Peter was battered down by the heroes everyone loved, the Avengers. The world's greatest heroes... if everyone saw how they were behind the mask they would be cursed.

However this boy tried protecting them, if they nearly slip up he was there to make an excuse because he would rather care about them... he already had alot on his plate.

However the Avengers were confused and unsure about the innocent boy, pushing him around as they knew nothing else. not knowing about why? how was he like this?

Maybe they were like this because they couldn't be like him. Jealousy perhaps? no... the memories. what they used to be like before... it hurt them, so they only knew to avoid them and turn away from the light.

This was what Peter had bottled up through the course of risking his life behind the mask twice as much. They knew he was Peter Parker, but they never knew how much the boy was being tormented. That the smile was just for others not for himself, hiding the blank and broken shine in his eyes.

"I'm so sorry Mr Captain America sir." He bowed slightly as his hands shook, he bumped into the other as he dropped the mug on the floor in which was Tony Stark's coffee.

"Pick them up, stop being so clumsy." He gave a cold shoulder and turned away, not bothering to help the poor boy. Peter picked up the sharp pieces as his hands got cut, he didn't make any food for himself these days. So his healing factor was slow...

He hitched his breath as the cuts stung and were pretty deep, however he got up and put them in the bin before making another coffee for the billionaire.

When he arrived to the lab Tony Stark had an irritated expression on his face.

"You're late by 10 minutes. Put the coffee on the table and stand infront of me."

He nodded and Peter put the coffee on the table, he was glad that the blood didn't stain the mug while he stood infront of the man with his head down.
